12V Portable Air Compressor Car Tire Inflator Pump - Preset Pressure Auto Shut Off - Digital 150 Psi Tire Gauge

So far, excellent. Note: when I first opened the box it had a very strong odor of rubber. It stunk up the first floor of our condo open room. My wife yelled at me to get it out of the house it was that strong. I had only experienced this before with Chinese products. Some cheap rubber in the unit I presume. The seller said to air it out. That's just what I did for two days out on the patio. It is much better now and only detect the odor if I get my nose very close to it. No longer a problem, just a pre-warning for others. Otherwise, seems to be sturdy and solid. I found that after plugging it into the cigarette output jack, the light worked fine. When I pre-set the psi level and turned on the unit it would inflate the tire to my target pressure digital psi number, then turn off in 5-10 seconds or so. When I unhooked the air nozzle a slight bit of air would escape (no problem) and I might loose 0.5 - 1.0 psi. So I just added 1.0 psi to my target amount. On my Alfa Romeo Giulia that is 32 psi front tires and 35 psi rear tires. So I set the infiltrator machine to 33 psi and 36 psi. My quite accurate air pressure gauge (M series Accu Gage) showed 32psi and 35 psi exactly. I'm very pleased! Excellent price/value IMO. After use I folded the power cord and placed it back in the unit as it came and then inserted the air hose Nice compact/tidy fit for storage. With the inflator on the ground, the air hose it not quite long enough to reach the tire air valve when it is at the very top of the tire, but that is no issue with me since I'd rather have a shorter air hose than one that is too long. I simply held or placed the unit on a small box if needed. Very good design! I hope this inflator will be reliable. I'll update my review if any problems arise. 7-26-2017 Used again and the same excellent results!

Have only needed to use this once however, so far so good! I only gave this 4 stars only becausethe air hose got pretty hot. Filled up the tire on my car in no time

I want to first and foremost say that I purchased this product with the intent of buying multiple if it worked out good, I do own a few different cars and after reading several positive "verified" purchase reviews I also ordered one. Shipping was prompt and packaged very well. I fired this up on my Cadillac DTS that had been sitting for about two months, flat tire obviously, the machine itself seemed to work fine as I did record a video of it doing its duty. I aired up one tire to around 30psi, the unit totally went dead. I figured it might had been my outlet but nope, the car has two and neither powered it back, tried other outlets in my other cars to no different results. I'm pretty sure I must of received a bad unit because the reviews that I read all came from what appear to be fair and knowledgeable people to the product, but still I'm giving the product a one star due to my own personal experience. Five star for Amazon as a business though for allowing the shipping label to be printed and refunding me my money expeditiously. Top notch customer service there.

I have a different compressor I use for the car. This one will put air in a car tire but it takes a minute or two. Where this unit shines is on bike tires. The quick on and off hook up to the air valve of the bike tire lets you unhook the valve with only a puff of air lost and very little pressure escaping. This is not true on the screw on type of air hoses where sometimes 4 or 5 pounds of compression is lost trying to get the hose loose from the tire. I love setting the pressure and having the unit shut itself off. This compressor is not as loud as some others I have had. Highly recommended.

This is an early impressions review, and right now, I'd say it's a mixed bag. Right when I opened the Amazon box and saw the product packaging, my heart sank a little. I really don't have a problem with language errors when a device is made in a foreign country - in fact, I think most Americans EXPECT that nowadays, and it really is charming sometimes - but when the product on the box is displayed as a "COMPERSSOR" with "LIIGHTING", I got a bit nervous. The compressor itself seems solidly made, and it had all of its parts. However, the instructions were useless. Totally useless. It's like they were run through an online translator for six different languages, with the last one being English. I was barely able to glean how to use the compressor from them, but they left me extremely frustrated because I had to devote so much time to interpretation. That's automatically a star removed from the review. As to the compressor itself? I don't know if it works. I don't know if I trust it. I pumped up my tires, the digital display read 35 PSI....but the compressor didn't automatically stop, as it is supposed to with the preset. But then, I'm not sure I did the preset correctly, because of those instructions. Can I trust the numbers on the digital readout? Can I trust that it actually pumped air into my tires? I have absolutely no idea. I won't know until I can take my car to a place that I trust that can compare immediate portable compressor results with heavy-duty permanent air compressor results. Until then, I am in complete ignorance as to this unit's effectiveness. Once I am able to compare the results, I plan on altering my review (one direction or another). I'm hopeful it works, because it is small, compact, and easy-to-use (instructions be damned). I'll gladly bump this to 4 stars if everything comes out kosher.

It seems to work as expected when the car tire is low on air but when I really need it on a totally flat tire , it would only turn on for a split second and then STOP!!! When I move it to other good tires it works fine when the tires already had plenty of air in them. I brelieve this machine goes BERSERK when it cannot register an adäquate tire pressure already present in the tire. My flst registered 8 psi and machine went BERSERK and would not pump for more that one second!! It works great for adding air to tires with an already pretty sufficient amount of air.
