can i get the uk plug type?

I bought a new the uk plug type that is unused and looking to get the us plug type as i live in the us.

Can you add sugar or salt or spices or seasoning to the yam or cassava prior to closing the lid? Will it affect the functions?

To get the authentic West African Poundo yam, you generally do not add spices to the yam. Having said that, this brand of yam pounder is not good!! Do not buy it I had to return mine.
