Alpine R-S69 R-Series 6x9-inch Coaxial 2-Way Speakers (Pair)

Bought these to replace my old alpine 6x9’s and these are an incredible upgrade, the sound clarity surpassed my expectations. If you already have a subwoofer don’t waste your $ on the 2020 versions save the $100!

These speakers sound amazing i have no amp currently and the bass still hits extremely hard, very worth it. Cannot wait to install an amp and maximize the power.

Really was displeased with the fact that one of the posts. That supports the 1-inch tweeter, To the main body of the speaker. And not supporting the Tweeter in the center of where it was supposed to be. Had to take and glue the post after slight fix its okay.

THESE ARE AWESOME SO I WILL BE BUYING THE 6 1/2 SPEAKERS AS WELL. But these speakers they are worth the money.

Installed in rear deck of 2018 Nissan Maxima. Sound is great quality and full range. Can't go wrong with Alpine R series speakers.

First, I did not receive Alpine R-S69's, I received Alpine R-S69.2's. I would normally be happy about this "upgrade", but they changed the cone and tweeter materials on this version, and they don't sound nearly as good as my SPR-69's. I wanted to replace my blown SPR-69's with a speaker of the same material to match all my speakers and keep the phenomenal sound I had, but being these were the main speaker in my trucks front doors, they fell a bit short. I even gave them some time to break in hoping they would start to sound better, but they are just not working out for me. Mainly the bass just isn't on par with my other speakers. It doesn't hit nearly as hard or as clear as my original speakers. Very disappointed.

The speakers sounded great while they were working. I’ve only had these installed for less than three months and the tweeters on these have blown. I have everything tuned within the manufacturer specifications. Worst part is the Asurion protection plan that was attached to these speakers at the time of purchase was the incorrect plan and I can even use the plan to cover these speakers. I hate wasting money and the fact that amazon auto populated the wrong protection plan has now cost me the insurance plan cost AND the cost of these speakers. Now I have a set of blown speakers with a protection plan that won’t cover them. Amazon has been on a steady decline in terms of service. I pay for the prime membership and often times my packages aren’t even delivered when they are “guaranteed” by. This is getting beyond ridiculous.

I love these speakers and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Joseph
