I've started reading books by Shain Rose and this was my 5th one. Its been a long time since I've been able to enjoy a book so much I have it finished in 2 days. You end up feeling like you really know the characters. And the steamy scenes, never disappoint! Now excuse me while I start the next book!

Couldn’t put this one down. The sex scenes are off the charts. An Absolutely must read, you won’t be disappointed!

There is no doubt Shain Rose has a beautiful talent on her hands.In this book, we'll see more of Katie and how she does everything she can to find herself and bring to light all the potential she has while struggling with her feelings for Rome.The writing is once again exquisite, bringing you more closer to each character and their motivation behind every action they take.It’s not easy to find strong female characters nowadays, but Shain Rose is able to accomplish that and more. Katie is without a doubt my favorite female character this year. With an unique personality and a loving heart, Katie is by far, my top 5 bada*ss characters.Rome is this strong b*ast of a man that will do ANYTHING to keep the woman he loves safe, no matter the consequences. But he'll beat all the odds to finally be back with the love of his life.I wish I can tell more about the story, but this is the kind of book you need to enjoy page after page.I totally recommend this duet and hope to read more about the other secondary characters that are also an important part of Rome and Katie's story.All the stars for this addictive Mafia romance.

I overall really liked this storyline, but the ending was disappointing.

I loved both this one and the first book. OMG reminds me of my bf who is just the right dominant man, leader and King of my heart. The love, fear, support, and passion between these characters are amazing. Can't remember the last book I read that moved me as much as these did. Hit me to the core.

The second book didn’t disappoint!! The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is I felt like the storyline was a little bit predictable. I would’ve liked a few more plot twists. But overall, this was a great duet and I can’t wait for Bastian’s story!!

Loved this series although I hate always wondering who might be killed next. Not many Bratva characters I liked but boy those Armanellis.

Rose captured the ending to this duet perfectly. She kept the characters true to themselves. This duet was a great read.

You author Shain are a mafia writing boss!! This book is the second in the series.. I’m hoping not the last we see of the gang, but it is the HEA for our two leads.We are back with Rome and Katalina, starting off where we left off in book one… and let me tell you it’s action packed, steamy, heartbreaking and powerful! Plus the banter between them all is fantastic!Katalina has found out she is the princess for the Russian mob and she is ready to claim that right no matter what it takes or who she has to leave behind.She is a total bad@ss, determined and will do whatever she has to, to get what she wants and where she belongs- a the top! This woman is feisty and fearless, she wants to lead with respect and love but above all she will lead!Rome has let his monster well and truly come out to play, you thought he was bad in book 1 *feeeew* book 2 is showing you a whole new level! Katalina leaving and taking a part of him with her, has released the beast!He is possessive, demanding, unstoppable from getting what he wants and he wants her! He doesn’t care about the mobs and tradition. His woman is just that HIS and he will prove to everyone including Katalina what he’s willing to do for her. And damn is HOT AF! I am ready to have in shipped to my front door no matter the postage 😏🤣I am a sucker for a mafia romance and this one has everything my wee dark twisted heart could ask for! Highly recommend! 😈

I’m on the fence about this book. It dragged on quite a bit but I had to finish it to find out what happens to Rome. The plot is quite extensive and detailed as are the characters and I loved how Katalina came up from a being treated as a whore to a mafia queen. However I couldn’t understand how someone who had a past such as hers could be so forgiving as a boss, went from opposite sides of the badass scale. Also, she was only linked to the Stonewoods because of Brey and Pix otherwise she wouldn’t have had the trifecta she self proclaimed to have backing her and calling herself the queen of Chicago. It was the audacity for me hahaha. The problem I had the most with this book was her idea of a show of power, to have Rome rail her (👀) for the very first time in the middle of his new club, have all ‘her boys’ participate in some way and having Cade record it for everyone else not there. That was so weird! I got the ick haha

Just like the first one not a page turner, repetitive, kind of boring, with no character development whatsoever. The main character is supposed to be getting smarter and more powerful but she just seems to be getting dumber and more one dimensional
