This will change everything you thought about Green Tea!
Smooth and fruity, not earthy. Hard to believe this is green tea. Just as good hot as it is cold. I sweetened lightly with honey from a local apiary absolutely sinful! Tastes like I am sipping dessert. Will reorder.

One of my favorite Republic of Tea green tea flavors
Originally a devoted coffee drinker, a few years ago, I began drinking several cups of green tea daily for the health benefits. It took me awhile to get used to the mild flavor, but I now really enjoy it. I keep an assortment of regular green as well as flavored varieties on hand. Green tea contains less than a quarter the amount of caffeine per cup than in a similar-sized cup of coffee so I'm able to drink it through the afternoon and still sleep at night (which I can't ordinarily do with regular black tea, coffee, or colas). Besides plain green tea, I particularly like the fruit flavored varieties. The Republic of Tea's blueberry and goji/raspberry are great. This Kiwi Pear Green Tea was featured as one of Dr. Oz.'s Favorite Green Tea in O, The Oprah Magazine, so I decided to give it a try. I think this is my new favorite flavor. It has the naturally sweet taste of pears with a bit of a zing from the kiwi and is smooth and refreshing. I've tried other flavored green teas which are more strongly flavored; however, it's because they contain artificial flavoring. This is one of the things I like about this particular brand of green tea in that there is no artificial anything. The small round tea bags come in a tall canister and I find the bags mostly good for only one single brewing. The Republic of Tea website recommends steeping this green tea for 1 to 3 minutes, but I usually steep for 4-5 minutes for more flavor. This Kiwi/Pear flavor is also excellent iced. Ingredients: China green tea, pear pieces, kiwi pieces, natural flavors.

bitter tasting
Something about all teas from this brand has a unique taste to it. Maybe the tea bag? Anyway, I enjoy this, but be warned that it tastes a bit bitter, so I always add sugar or honey to it.

Flavor better than straight green tea
I am not a fan of plain old green tea which tastes like grass to me, but for health reasons I want to drink green tea. So the flavor in this tea somehow masks the grass taste and is quite delicious. Label says ingredients are China green tea, natural flavors, apple bits, and kiwi juice granules. Don't let it steep too long because it can become bitter.

π Not Quite My Cup of Tea π΅
The Republic of Tea's Kiwi Pear Tea has a decent flavor profile, but it doesn't measure up to their other green teas. I find the Spring Cherry variety much more appealing. While the price is fair (4βοΈ), the flavor only gets 3βοΈ from me. I wouldn't buy this one again. It's a nice try, but not a standout. πΈπ΅

Came in handy during a life crisis
I suffer from anxiety that, for the most part, I am able to handle. On top of my already hectic and stressful life, in the last few months I have lost dear family members and then a month ago my spouse had the "the widow maker". He survived, but that was basically the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak. The anxiety became "crippling". Until I was able to see my doctor, this tea was the only thing that helped. The ONLY thing. Lemon balm is the bomb! I use agave syrup to sweeten all my teas, and the kiwi on the back end was delightful!
