Disapointed
On the plus side, fan looks really good; moderate light, perfect for night use, although LED lamp emits blueish, cold hue, that may bother some, but I find very nice. No problems with installation, very well built.Unfortunately,- 120 CFM is highly exaggerated. Old fan had 80 CFM and was working much better in our very small bathroom. No mistakes were made during clean installation, exhaust is new and short, everything was checked twice by two different people. Any gaps around edges were closed with caulking and foam.- Noise. Ohh..noise. That was main reason for putting new fan. Old one had over 4 sones and was heard in bedroom behind wall. There is difference of course, but not enough. Plus sound is uneven. Hard to describe, but similar to car engine with a little screwed up rpm sensor. If anybody is interested, I will record that sound. We are going to use it for few months (I do not have time nor energy to start over right away), then buy different brand and repeat process.Sorry Tatsumaki, really wanted to like this product more, but for almost 100 bucks it should work much, much better. Exept look it is comparable to $30+ fans sold in every store.

Great purchase!
I purchased both the TA-120 (no light) and the LD-120 (with LED light). I have had them for about 2 months and I am happy with them, and will by another LD-120 for our third bathroom. The TA-120 looks very sleek and modern and has sharper edges than the LD-120, which has beveled edges (see pics). They were both easy to install (I had access from the attic above). I was curious about the air flow and noise given some reviews. Here are my measurements conducted with a good anemometer for the air flow and an iPhone app for sound:Free air flow (not installed): 150 cfmTA-120: air flow (installed with about 10 ft duct) 110 cfm; sound level 56.4 dB (2.5 ft below the fan)LD-120: air flow (installed with about 18 ft duct) 133 cfm; sound level 63.6 db (2.5 ft below the fan)The TA-120 was markedly quieter which surprised me, but it could be because of the installation, or because the LD-120 is located in a small half-bath as opposed to a full bath for the TA-120.The LED light brightness is just right. It is however a cold light (5000 K I think) which did not look great with our light color walls. Tatsukami sells a 3000 K replacement and I have called to order it and it is on its way.

VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER
I originally rated this fan lower due to the LED light requiring replacement after 4 weeks. However, once I contacted the company customer service through e-mail, they responded immediately and mailed out a new one. The original light was too blue, however the customer service rep asked me to specify the new light and give me the option that best suited my needs. I wanted bright, but not blue. So the rep recommended 3000k. The company remained in contact with me through e-mail - checking in to make sure I was satisfied. The new LED panel arrived within days. Now I have the brightness I need, with a warm normal tone. It's perfect for the low ceiling in my basement and the ventilation is strong with minimal noise. Now, my new light is even better than the factory included light. I highly recommend this fan for the functionality, look, and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Defects can happen in any product line, but how a company handles the situation and makes the customer whole, is what sets them apart. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. FYI, My electrician did not use the brackets that came with the fan, and for the vent tubing he used the coiled dryer vent tube. I think this made all the difference as far as noise, because my vent sound is so low, I can hardly hear it. Yet the suction of air is very good.

Very quiet!
The media could not be loaded. This fan is super quiet. I would have given it 5 stars, but it was a difficult installation. For some reason, there is a flange located on the bottom of the housing, I assumed so it can be mounted to the ceiling. Only problem is, you can't just slide it up inside the hole in the ceiling fan, because the attached connect/control box is attached to the fan on the side, so it's in the way. And you can't install it from the attic because of the flange. I literally had to disassemble the unit so that I could get it installed and then I had to re-assemble it in the attic after it was installed. (I hope I didn't void the warranty.)Also, the LED light doesn't emit very much light, but it almost blinds you when you look at it, so I never use it.

Good price for having a light also.
My husband installed this replacement fan in about 1 - 1 1/2 hours. (I lost track of time as I was doing other things around the house)It went in fairly smooth but the fan has an annoying rattle. I contacted customer service about this and Calvin suggested removing the damper to get rid of the rattle. This means my husband needs to crawl up in the attic crawl space again which he isn't happy about doing. He hasn't had time to do this yet so I can't report if that's a fix. He is also concerned that removing the damper will let cold air in an already cold house. It's only been a few day but the fan seems to draw out shower steam . No fogged mirror. I did buy a higher cfm needed for bathroom size. I needed a minimum of 64 cfm. Also, it is listed as ULTRA quiet. I don't know that I would go as far as calling it ultra quiet but can't get a true feel for the sound because of the rattle noise. This is in a secondary bathroom so I'm sure I can live with the sound level if I can fix the rattle.
