This instrument cleaning kit is for my daughter. She uses it to clean her saxophone and it has been wonderful since it cleans it very well inside and gets my daughter out of trouble every time she needs to clean her instrument. I recommend that you buy it since it is of good quality and durable. And it is perfect for cleaning your instruments.

A very effective and efficient kit that fits in its 5" by 5" zippered case. At a glance, the kit looked like a wallet. Our thirteen-year-old saxophone player received honors recently, but to expand his instrument journey fully, he'll enjoy learning how to take care of his saxophone.

A fun addition to this would be an illustrated sheet-explaining the function of each item. I still don’t know what the smallest polishing cloth is intended for. I felt the neck swab was a bit bulky and hard to pull through and I was on the struggle bus to tilt the saxophone just right to send the weighted lines through the instrument for the large swab. I wish I had the joy of the mouthpiece guards when I was in marching band. I didn’t even know those things existed. How often should I replace them? I have a huge stack. The zippered storage case fits so nicely in the saxophone gig bag-but those swabs are never going back in there-no matter how you fold them. AND-they need to dry out-not be wadded up in the storage case. Are they washable? Who knows. Again, no written instructions. Instead of the swabs, I put my reeds and cork grease in the zippered case alongside my new pile of mouth piece guards. Every parent should buy this care kit and then work with your child to show what each item does. It takes some time to learn about each item in the kit. I highly recommend an addition of a pad saver that fits inside the length of the instrument and has a cap on one end. This finishes the drying process when the instrument is stored. Five stars and a good value.

The long strap come apart pulling though my saxophone and I had to reattach in order to use it.
