The first thing I did was pull it apart to hyper-align it, and once that was done the micro-adjust mechanism was very effective in dialing in my espresso grind. I was shocked to experience how true it is that small changes in grind and brewing ratio can have a quite noticeable effect on the flavor profile of a shot. I'm glad I sprung for it (and for the Cafelat Robot press my wife had previously gotten me).
