As a nurse, as we are ALL well aware, our stethoscope is arguably our most IMPORTANT tool when conducting physical assessments and focused assessments (aside from our intuition, of course). And it’s super important to have a reliable stethoscope that you enjoy using within your arsenal! I’m going to apologize for the winded review, but I have a lot of things to say so please bear with me. Throughout nursing school I used an MDF Acoustica. It was cute, pink, lightweight and easy on the wallet at the time. The only problem? It was SO hard for me to hear clearly. I’m young and definitely not hard of hearing but I think it just wasn’t geared well enough to isolate what I needed to hear. Manual BPs??? Couldn’t hear anything. I graduated and began using an MDF Classic Cardiology which has awesome acoustics but it’s SO HEAVY! It couldn’t stay around my neck for the LIFE of me and was always falling off my shoulder and I was just so tired of being so conscientious about it and having to maneuver weird ways with it on and whatever. It was also expensive (like $170!!!) and I was kind of bummed, you know? I didn’t want to sacrifice my ability to hear things clearly so I did some research. Knew I wasn’t going to go for a Littmann Classic because I’ve used the Classic II and Classic III and was underwhelmed with their performance. I’ve used their Cardiology III as well and I honestly have to say that this Bjorn Hall Stethoscope has THE BEST acoustics for the price point. The sounds aren’t muffled and I’m able to differentiate whatever ambient noise I hear (if I happen to hear it at all) from what my patient’s noises are. Performs just as well as the Littmann Cardiology in my opinion and BETTER than the Classic model. And again, for the price and what comes with the scope you can’t beat it! Thank you Nurse Jenny and Bjorn Hall for making this wonderful scope! Please never ever stop making them! I’m going to have one for the rest of my career!

The color is amazing, the metal has good weight but isn’t to heavy. The ear pieces are comfortable, and they come in many sizes that are included in the box. The carrying bag has good padding but isn’t bulky, it fits easily in my bag, the zipper is smooth and hasn’t snagged. Sound is clear and loud. The accuracy up against an automatic BP system at the doctors office I work at is always within 5 points both systolic and diastolic. This is so far the best stethoscope I’ve used that didn’t cost hundreds of dollars, well worth the $60. So easy to use, and works exceptionally well.

This stethoscope is one of the best I have ever used! The sound is crisp, and clear! The chestpiece is lightweight, but heavy enough to hang around neck without moving too much. The tactical black looks awesome, and does not chip like some steths with coated metal. The ear pieces are comfortable and provide a good seal, helping to block out external noises. I waited to use at work before leaving my review to be fair. I almost didn't buy because one review claimed all Bjorn Halls positive reviews are fake, I can tell you that's 100% not true after using it myself. I would say if you have trouble hearing out of this scope, you may need to get your ears cleaned, lol. No but seriously, you can adjust the ear pieces. I use the ones that were already attached and sound is amazing. So glad I didn't buy that other popular "L" brand! Customer service is excellent and they offer a money back guarantee, a 2 year warranty, and the scope comes with extra ear pieces and diaphragms. I absolutely love this steth!

I saw such great reviews over this stethoscope on YouTube and on here as well as the fact the black and silver one was on sale and decided to give it a try to choose between another very popular brand that I have used before from a fellow nurse I work with versus Bjorn Hall for nursing school clinicals and everybody get this stethoscope!! I could hear crystal clear like I could with the other very popular brand and as well as compared to a Mid range cost stethoscope that was gifted to me. I got this for the price of the mid range stethoscope while on sale here on Amazon and it is totally worth it! I love the case of ear pieces that came along with the stethoscope and change out diaphragm covers as well. I cannot be more satisfied with this purchase!!! I wanted to see the difference too with it being around my neck versus other heavy stethoscopes and it feels like a cloud. Now I’m very ready to use it more and I also want the white one as well!! Wish I could gift this more to some of the amazing nurses I work with and a student in school with me, but I will be spreading the word for real!! I loved the sleek look, quality, price, and packaging I saw online when researching this company and stethoscope. And the 1st few shifts, I loved using it. But now, it's so-so. The sound is great and I love the different sized ear pieces you get. But the carrying case is so stiff you can't use it and I didn't get the cute little case for the ear pieces either, they were just in a little plastic bag. I emailed the company to make sure I didn't just buy a dupe on Amazon. The company was nice and said they don't include those now and the packaging has also been scaled back,. It's supposed be a black matte finish on the tubing so it doesn't slide on your neck but mine is kind of a shiny black and slides off my neck more than the Adscope or Littmann do. So yes it is a good product and yes it does work, but what I got is not what I was hoping for. But it is worth the price you pay...so I like it, but I don't 🤷‍♀️

I have had several different stethoscopes, all a certain L brand, and have never been super stoked by any of them. When I was, yet again, shopping for a new stethoscope I found a video here on Amazon reviewing stethoscopes. One of the scopes talked about was the Bjorn Hall. Based on the video and reviews I decided to get it and let me tell you— I LOVE it! The length is about two inches longer than my last scope and I really like that since I hate being up in my patient’s faces. The sound quality is SO clear. Love that it comes with a second set of diaphragms, three more sets of ear tips (small, medium, and large) in addition the the medium tips already on the scope, the little parts carrying case is awesome too, and all for $99. The stethoscope will come with kinks in the tubing. Do not fret my pet, just follow the video by Bjorn Hall on how to straighten the tubing and you will be good to go. It is a very light weight stethoscope but don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s cheap. The quality is there for sure. I do wish it came in colors other than black or white but that’s not a deal breaker for me in the least.

Update: I've now been using this stethoscope regularly for about 8 months and I have to say it has been very frustrating. Often times I can't hear anything out of one ear (sometimes both) and have to spend a considerable amount of time twisting the two ear pieces around to fix the issue. This is very impractical in the clinical setting. I noticed this issue when I first purchased it, but it seemed easy enough to adjust quickly, however it's gotten significantly worse and now I consider this stethoscope to be practically useless. It's very stylish and I really did want to love it, but now that I have to use a stethoscope every day, I realize I need something far more reliable. Original Review: This stethoscope is beautiful to look at and comfortable to use. The tubing has a wonderful, non-rubbery texture that doesn’t snag at the back of the neck, which I greatly appreciate. It is very lightweight, however I was happy to find that the diaphragm has a solid heft to it that makes it feel quality. And of course the acoustics are nice and clear; can’t ask for more!

The stethoscope is beautiful! The tubing is soft and a little longer than my Littmann. It comes with large ear tips on the stethoscope and I needed small tips. Replacements in small and medium are included in the box. I removed one ear tip and attempted to put a small tip on and it was impossible! In fact the small ear tip split on the end that goes on the stethoscope. The hole that goes on the stethoscope is entirely too small. I even had my husband try and it just would not work. I replaced my original one thinking the ear tips were defective. The exact same thing happened with the replacement. I’m so disappointed.
