The right tool for the job. There's something about mixing dough with your bare hands that gives you a kind of satisfaction that you don't get with an electric mixer. And sometimes you just want to quickly mix up dough for a loaf of bread or pancake batter, but don't feel like pulling out the mixer or using your bare hands. That's where this dough mixer comes in. This very well built, heavy duty dough mixer is up to the task of mixing light wet batters or dense, heavy bread dough. It makes quick work of mixing together wet and dry ingredients without making a mess. It's easy to clean and it's sealed where the metal hook meets the handle so junk doesn't get stuck in the crevices. Like a quality knife, the metal dough hook goes all the way through the handle. The handle is covered with a nice grippy silicon material. There are cheaper hand dough mixers available for half the price, but this one is built to last a lifetime and is a joy to hold in your hands, and a joy to use.

Works and cleans up better that expected. I've only hand washed so can't attest to dishwasher safe. Would buy again and should've bought sooner. Larger than expected but ideal in size when used. Very sturdy. Perfect gift for someone who bakes.

I bought this after seeing it mentioned in a Youtube video, where she said that the metal that forms the coil also runs inside the entire length of the handle. It is larger and more substantial than I was expecting. I used it yesterday for the first time making focaccia. So nice! This is a very sturdy tool and worth the price. Glad I didn’t buy a cheapo like I was originally going to, not being super familiar with this kind of whisk. Highly recommend.

This whisk is perfect for sourdough! It has room between the heavy duty stainless tongs to clean up easily, is very sturdy and works beautifully in mixing the stiff dough and the handle is just the right length to easily heft that dough around the bowl. So happy I bought this!

I have put off buying a whisk for a long time. The common complaint is the whisk breaks off at the handle. I can see why when the whisk ends shortly after entering the handle. Brod and Taylor whisk continues all the way down the handle. They show the diagram and decided this is the one I needed. I had to give this one a try. On the first mix, you can feel the solid build in this whisk. The handle is not slip, the whisk releases the dough quickly and cleanup was easy because after a quick rinse you can toss it in the dishwasher. You may be hesitant on buying this because it's a bit that all the other bread whisks, but the few extra dollars are well worth the cost in having a quality build dough whisk.

Learned about this brand of dough hook from a YT video. My old one was the type that was attached to a wooden handle. It was nice, but I always had to hand wash it, and while I had not had a problem with the head staying attached, over time, that could definitely become an issue. This dough hook resolves both those issues. It’s dishwasher safe, and the metal runs through the handle, so the head can’t just fall off over time. The handle is also nicely cushioned and is an inch or two longer than my old one, so I can get very good control even with a stiffer dough. This works really well and I’m so glad I happened to see the video where the creator talked about this particular dough hook as she was making some baked goods, and how much she loved it. I think this could become an heirloom kitchen tool!

Sturdy, strong, mixes well, easy to use, and easy to clean.

Very solid piece. The best feature is that the coils are not so tight that dough gets wedged in between them (like a cheaper model I started with). Also, it is one piece (also, unlike a cheaper model I started with that came apart). I figured it was time to upgrade my tools, and I am glad I did. I like that itis dishwasher safe and has a silicone handle. Feels great in my hands.

Perfekt, besser geht es nicht

This should be the one and only hand dough whisk I will never need for this point forward. Solid construction, no wobbling, grippy rubber handle that's soft to touch, no bending using whisk with 2.2kg of dough. - good stuff. Cleans easily with the trade off being double the cost for that solid core. Worth the cost if you plan to use for longer than a year or with large amounts of dough.

Ich schreibe selten eine Bewertung. Aber der Teigrührer ist einfach nur Klasse. Das ist echt ein Teil für die Ewigkeit. Die meisten Teigrührer haben stark verzweigte Drähte, die man sehr schlecht reinigen kann. Das ist bei diesem anders. Alles so super leicht zum saubermachen. Auch keine Holräume wo sich das Wasser stauen kann, wie in manch anderen Teigrührer.Liegt sehr gut in der Hand und man kann super Teige anrühren. Lieber etwas mehr Geld ausgeben, aber dafür ein tolles Arbeitsgerät. Kann ich weiter empfehlen.

Mixes well, strong so it doesn’t feel like it’s about to snap or bend in the hand. Best of all it can go in the dishwasher
