Twisted Love: the must-read brother's best friend romance

Twisted Love completely pulled me in from the first page and didn’t let go. Ana Huang crafts a captivating mix of romance, tension, and emotional depth that kept me hooked the entire time. Alex Volkov is the perfect morally grey hero—brooding, brilliant, and heartbreakingly complex. His chemistry with Ava is electric, and their slow-burn romance is full of tension, banter, and genuine vulnerability. I loved how the story balances steamy moments with heavier themes like trauma, loyalty, and healing. Ava’s strength and warmth shine through, making her the perfect match for Alex’s cold exterior. Their growth, both as individuals and as a couple, felt real and satisfying. If you love protective heroes, strong heroines, and a romance that makes your heart ache and race at the same time, Twisted Love is a must-read. I couldn’t put it down—and I’m already diving into the next book in the series!

A very good book I've had this in my tbr for ages but never got on to reading it.the plot us amazing and ava and Alex's relationship is so cute and also the spice is amazing.i also love the fact that ava has a witty and funny relationship with her brother

I did enjoy this story greatly. I love intense, passionate romances, and that's what this story was. The characters were very real and written beautifully. The author is a very good writer. That being said, there's a reason I give this story 3 stars and not 5. I hope I don't put anyone off this book. It is a good read! Here goes: - Alex's mysterious background and connection with everyone and everything just seems so unrealistic. He has connections to the president and British royalty and has his own clean up crew to bury bodies - sorry for the minor spoiler but you'll find out from the very start that Alex is a very dark anti-hero character. This book was basically a mafia story without the involvement of the mafia. All his extra curricular activities and knowledge of knowing everything just seemed really unrealistic is all I'm saying. That leads me to my next point. - Alex's dark past and his continuous illegal activities poses the question how can Ava and him be together given that Ava is the complete opposite of him. I get that she loves him and makes him a better person and he is a good person at heart, but there's so much more to relationships than love. Like having the same morals. Ava is shown to be really soft hearted and kind so how can she be willing to be with someone who resorts to violence so fast? - sorry now I just sound like I'm really invested in this fictional relationships, but hey, that's a testament to the author's brilliant writing and characterisation. - Another reason for the 3 stars - I very much enjoy spicy books, I mean come on, it's part of the reason why we all chose to read this, lol. That being said, I like romantic spicy scenes, I get that sometimes it's all action and some enjoy reading those scenes, but this novel was only ridiculously objective spicy scenes. It wasn't emotional enough, even when it should've been after big romantic outburst and speeches. And also some of Alex's choice of words in the bedroom were very vulgar but I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea and some may enjoy it. I hope I didn't deter you from reading this book. It is a good read with a good plot. I just wanted to be honest to give some insight to the next reader. I hope you enjoy this story x

I was recommended to read this and decided to go in blind, without reading the blurb or reviews and i am glad i did. At heart i am a dark romance lover, but i do from time to time enjoy other genres of romance. I found this one hard to pin down to one or two specific genres because it covered lots of tropes, with lots of stories within the story, for example grumpy/sunshine, brothers best friend, college/bully romance etc... I did however like the characters overall, i think Ana tried to make the MMC possessive and OTT like in some dark romance's but because she never fully committed to the dark romance theme it didn't quite work, BUT and its a big BUT...i enjoyed the story overall! I found i couldn't put it down, didn't want to and i was glad things worked for the characters, of course now i have to read the remaining three books, as i need to know that all of the girls get their HEA's!! Its not as bad as some of the reviews will have you believe!

Hands down one of my top reads this year (yes I know that it’s only January🙄 BUT ITS TRUE) I don’t have a bad thing to say about this book. The writing was amazing and had my captivated from the first page. I couldn’t put it down. (Warning again: there’s spoilers) The story line was insane! I didn’t expect any of it. Normally half way through the book I can sort of see where the books going and how it’s going to play out but this book took me by complete surprise. And the chemistry between Alex and Ava was off the charts❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 I couldn’t imagine going through what either of them went through. The resilience Ava showed in the end when she took back control of her fear and her life was inspiring and she’s probably one of my favourite heroines. I love that she didn’t just forgive Alex and they lived happily ever after. She truly needed to learn to trust not only Alex but herself also and I found those last few chapters to be a really powerful way to end the book And Alex….😍 oh Alex. I couldn’t imagine reliving the murder of my family over and over and again. The way he was written and his inner turmoil was heartbreaking. Ava was the perfect amount of light to his darkness and the way he opened himself up to her was so beautiful and I just wanted him to be happy 😭 Honestly I could go on and on about this book. I need more so I’m onto the next book

Güzel bir kitap

This book is worth all the hype it has received. It’s an amazing read with the main female character being the sister of the main male character’s friend, their love story is a somewhat forbidden romance. The ups and downs had me on the edge of my seat and it was heartbreaking to an extent but definitely worth it! A must buy because it’s a great read! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series
