Review: Subtle and natural - I bought this mouthwash because it uses tea tree oil, which is reportedly very natural and healing. Although most people use mouthwash to freshen their breath, I purchased this product with the intent to not only freshen my breath, but also to see if the tea tree oil would heal any potential cavities and kill any bacteria not visible to the eye. I am about halfway done with the bottle; it has a very subtle flavor, Nothing too strong. I have yet to note any other differences however, I most likely would repurchased under the grounds that I am trying to live a more holistic lifestyle and use less toxic chemicals in my personal hygiene products. I do, however, wish that this was more affordable for the amount that you receive. I understand more pure, minimally processed products will cost more. I am just accustomed to buying a huge bottle of Listerine for half the price that’s the only con that is unsettling. However, as far as quality, If I note any benefits through long-term use, I will provide an update.

**Q: does it need to be rinse out with water**
A: The direction does not specify that you have to rinse with water.  I think it would be more of a personal choice.

**Q: What is the exact list of ingredients?**
A: I would rather not retype the info that is on the product page. Go to the product page and look at the picture of the back of the bottle. All of the ingredients are listed.Also, if you like tree oil mouthwash you can do so FAR CHEAPER yourself. I make my own: 16oz distilled water, 12-15 drops tea tree oil. I use stevia (2-4) drops to slightly sweeten but you do not have to. I also use peppermint or cinnamon essential oil for a little flavor. A bottle of tea tree oil, some essential oil, distilled water ALL TOGETHER about the same cost of Desert Essence but will make 20 times more.

**Q: Does it help with dry mouth?**
A: I find that it does for me.  Hope this helps!

**Q: How many times a week and how long for oil pulling**
A: I use this as a mouthwash only.

This has such a mild refreshing taste and it’s colorless. It’s perfect if your mouth or gums are sensitive. I cannot use mouthwash that has a lot of sugars in it because it irritates my teeth. This one is refreshing and not super potent great for sensitive gums or teeth.
