Not really a lot to say about this item except where has it been all of my adult life? It's not the most beautiful of objects but it's purpose is not aesthetics but rather performance and it delivers that superbly. With so many of our "indispensable" devices (cell phones, tablets, laptops etc.) receiving their power via bulky ac/dc converter blocks this is a veritable necessity. A few manufacturers are actually making power strips that are able to twist, turn or slide apart to accommodate these converters but they are usually prohibitively expensive. The Power Squid 5 and it's smaller cousin the Power Squid Mini (3 outlets) fill this niche neatly and at a much more reasonable price point. Not only that but it is from a company that has been around for a very long time, specializing in products that make our productivity more feasible: Stanley.

The PowerSquid is a great idea - it works perfectly to plug in those large transformers that seem to be on every electronic device out there, and that always take up two places on the power strip. The PowerSquid cord is long enough to reach across a table and the flexible cords on the individual outlets keep the transformers separated. If there is a downside, it is that the PowerSquid takes up more room than a plain old bar shaped power strip. I don't consider that a problem but some might. I would definitely recommend the PowerSquid to anyone with electronics to plug in.

This plug extension was purchased for use outside where I needed more than two plugs to operate a pump, filter, landscape lights and pond lights. It works a charm. The light in the switch that lets you know when it is on helps, as if something is not working I can immediately trace it back and know if its the unit or the power supply. The extensions are thick rubber and plugs fit tightly helping avoid any moisture comin in contact wit the prongs.

Great extension chord that splits one outlet into FIVE grounded outlets. I used this with my computer set up so I could get five devices into my one remaining outlet on my APC battery backup. Now if I loose power my hard drives will stay online until I can save. Would buy again.

Well made, works great. A little bit bulky

This is my second one of these. They are built to last (I’ve had my first one for 10+ years) and are an excellent way to get power to where you need it. The design feels more versatile than a power strip and the build quality is definitely more durable. Great buy!

This extension cord is perfect for more than one tool/appliance - I actually use it in the kitchen - as it's a heavier duty cord than the regular with just a rectangle to put your plugs in and I feel it's a lot safer when I need to use an extension cord where I can't directly plug the appliance into the base.

It’s essentially a power bar with cord ends... it works as expected.. nothing really too exciting about it. The build seems good and seems durable. I haven’t had any issues with it so far. Regular power bars are way cheaper, but if this is what you need then it’s great.

Well built. Great for use w/ multiple wall-warts. My only issue is that some plugs were not as snug as others, so it is easy to dislodge an ac adapter (said wall-wart)
