Great recorder at a decent price.
Extremely fast shipping! Easy to use, long battery life, long recording time. Excellent audio, nice microphone. Compact, easy to carry and use. Perfect for interviews or recording folks around a conference table. Nothing fancy, just really nice mono recorder. I used the transcribing feature windows 11 to transfer playback audio from ICD PX370 to my PC with an external microphone and into LibreOffice Writer (similar to Microsoft Office Word, but free).

Great product!
Very good product. Mic is very clear and good for lectures. Lightweight and durable. Audio files are easy to organize in folders. Has built in memory, but you can also utilize micro SD cards to expand memory. Highly recommend.

I like it.. good little East to use good sounding and recording portable easy to work recorder
Works very good. The instructions could be better. And it does feel a little cheap for 60 bucks but so I'm all it works good. It does what it's suppose to do. Let good portable small pocket sized recorder. Good battery life pretty easy to navigate though wish the instructions didn't leave stuff out like allot of the different options or scenes. But decent recorder

Good sound and good volume control.
Ok, so this is my third digital voice recorder! I returned the first two because they could not pick up voice sounds from more than a few feet away, and had no volume control. I have yet to test this one in a lecture since I just got it this afternoon but I will next Monday. So far it's great. I recorded a YouTube video on very low volume with the recorder several feet away. The recording was crystal clear and I was able to turn up the volume to a fairly loud setting to play it back. It wasn't even necessary to turn up the volume in order to hear the recording well but I wanted to see how loud it could go. The volume is quite sufficient. Also, it is easy to figure out how to use, unlike the others. It also has a quality feel to it, & not like it came from the toy section of the dollar store. Granted it's not a $400 recorder but for the money it works very well and I am keeping this one! It's a keeper!

Perfect small recorder
I initially bought this model 2 years ago to secretly record my two young nieces as they just talk non stop about random stuff, and are so entertaining. I got some hilarious clips from them to turn into fun recordings with music. This particular purchase was sent back because my original recorder wasn't "lost" like I thought it was. Fast forward, my adult nephew needed some help and moved in with me "temporarily", but ended up being just a freeloader who likes to scream and verbally abuse anyone who simply questions him about minor things. I was stunned at the screaming sessions he had when I would ask him things like "could you please clean your food out of the kitchen drain" or "Hey, could you make sure to flush the toilet after going #2". I'd get 20 minutes of random argument about things that had nothing to do with those things.. No one would believe me that he was so obnoxious. So, I made sure this little recorder was nearby at all times, because he could start this obnoxious behavior very unexpectedly. And, it worked out. A couple of the recordings had him threatening to destroy my house, my car, let my pets out to roam free, steal my property, take apart my newly build deck. I let him know I had that all saved and if he wasn't out in 45 days, I'd use it all during the eviction process. It worked - he's gone and my sanity is back. It's small enough to be tucked behind something to go unnoticed, or fit in the front pocket of my hoodie. The battery seems to last pretty long. I use rechargeable batteries so I have one ready to snap in as needed. I loved that I can plug this into my computer to save the recordings. The controls are very easy to memorize so you don't even have to look down to get the recording started. The quality of the recordings is really good. I can't speak for how good it picks up in a large lecture room or hall for classes, meetings or conferences. But, it picks up conversation from another room well.

On/Off Switch breaks after only about a year & phone jack loosens
Purchased this item in Aug. 2022. It worked great. Added an SD card & put a ton of music on it. Used it to record reminders, details for work, & listen to music. Worked great w/ decent headphones, w/ great sound. Features on the item were great, too, esp. the shuffle option for the music. I had owned an earlier model several years before (not made anymore), & the same issues happened w/ it that led me to purchase this model. Well, the same things that happened w/ that one has happened w/ this one. The headphone jack got loose, & began to cut in & out, depending on the position of the device in my pocket; I even used 90-degree adapters to reduce strain on the jack. Now the power on/off/hold button slides up & down, completely free, & doesn't work anymore; I can't even turn off the hold. The item is completely shot & useless now. For the price I paid, this thing should've lasted at least another couple of years. I did notice another reviewer had the same issue w/ the power button, & he contacted Sony, & they sent him a brand new recorder w/ no questions asked. That's fine, but if they send me a new device, will the same thing occur after a year of use? To me, it's just bad design, & I've lost my patience w/ Sony. Over the last 15 years, most of the Sony products I've bought & used, like headphones (wires came loose), stereo components (buttons quit working, dials stopped functioning, LED's burned out), et. al., developed problems, or quit working altogether, w/i a year +/- a couple of months. In most cases, w/ respect to the cost of repairs, it was cheaper just buy a new device. Back in the '70's & '80's, Sony stuff was deemed high-end; now, it's just plain run-of-the-mill garbage, w/ no quality of parts or acceptable durability. I paid $46 for this device, & I had paid over $40 for the previous model I had owned; in other terms, that's a tank of petrol for my vehicle, & my vehicle is 17 yrs. old & still running great, & has <98,000 miles. I think, w/ the way technology has developed, I ought to get a couple more years out of a small device for that kind of money. As far as Sony products now, "thus quoth the Raven...nevermore."

Great and easy to use!
I got this recorder for my elderly dad who is technology illiterate. Its super easy to use, just press record or stop to record audio! Even if another menu item is selected (eg options) it will still record! Pros: - From a major brand. - Takes AA batteries so you dont have to deal with built-in battery failing to hold a charge after a year or two. - Sturdy construction. - Lots of features. - Sensitive mic. - Build in USB port that slides out from the body so you can connect it directly to a computer to take files off of it! Cons: - The audio quality on the voice recorded itself is really bad, but you'd only really listen to audio on it to verify that your recording is audible. Move the files to the computer instead.
