Perfect for Quick & Easy Egg Cooking!
I absolutely love the Chefman Egg-Maker! This appliance makes cooking eggs a breeze. Whether you're in the mood for soft, medium, or hard-boiled eggs, this machine delivers perfect results every time. The included poaching and omelet tray is a fantastic bonus, adding even more versatility to the unit. I especially appreciate how quickly it cooks—what used to be a time-consuming process is now done in just a few minutes. The design is sleek and compact, and it’s incredibly easy to use. Just fill the water reservoir, place the eggs inside, press the button, and let the machine do the work. The ready signal is a nice touch, so you know exactly when your eggs are done. Plus, it’s BPA-free, which is always a big plus for me. Cleanup is a breeze, and I love how the egg shells peel off easily once the eggs are done. If you're someone who enjoys eggs frequently, or just wants a hassle-free way to make breakfast, I highly recommend the Chefman Egg-Maker. It’s a game-changer!

Perfect easy-peel eggs
This works just as well as using an instant pot if you are trying to make peeling your eggs easier. The nice thing is it cleans up a lot faster and easier than the instant pot. I did find that sometimes the yolk is not completely cooked. It’s just mostly cooked.I have dealt with that in two ways - either I put an extra quarter cup of water in at the beginning, or after it beeps I let it sit in the steam for another few minutes and that seems to do the trick. I will never boil eggs on the stove top again. This is so easy. I very frequently now just put two eggs in and make an egg salad sandwich for lunch. It’s so quick, easy to peel, and the cooking is no fuss.

It actually works like the instructions says it will!
Oh my gosh!! This is the best egg cooker I have ever used. I love very soft poached eggs and this is the first electric one that actually works. Spray a little Pam and add just 1/4 tsp. butter for flavor and they just slip out onto your plate. It has extra pans to cook omelets in which also beeps when they are done. Just turn them off and let them firm up a bit without that nasty scorched taste happening. I love vegetable omelets. You can steam the vegies while your coffee brews and then add the veggies to your omelet to cook. The fact that they hold two eggs for poached eggs and there is enough room in the omelet tray to hold your egg mixture, a little chopped ham and cheese lets you have a full size breakfast without overflow like other electric versions of egg cookers. With simple instructions and measuring of how much water to add when you first turn the machine on, you will get perfect results every time. It also easy to set the timer for perfect hard boiled eggs. Just follow the timing and the auto shutoff takes care of the rest.

Great Little Egg Cooker!
I'm an old bachelor, and while I love hard boiled eggs, I rarely ever went to the trouble of getting out a pot and cooking them. That, plus I always had a terrible time peeling eggs that were cooked in water. A friend told me about these little egg cookers, so I looked them over and decided on the Chefman. I really like this device. It's very easy to use, does a great job on eggs, and cleanup is a snap. It comes with a little measuring cup which has lines on it for soft, medium and hard boiled as well as for poached eggs and omelets. You just fill the little measuring cup with water (I use distilled water) to the appropriate line for your cooking preference. You pour the water into the cooking plate, place the cooking rack on top of the base, put eggs on the rack (up to six), and place the lid on the unit. You then plug in the unit, press the power button and cooking begins. Hard boiled eggs take about 13 minutes to cook. After cooking you just remove the lid, lift out the cooking rack and hold it with the eggs under cold water for a bit before putting them in the refrigerator. Cleanup is simple. I just rinse the lid and cooking rack with hot water, and wipe the heating plate with a little white vinegar on a paper towel to prevent mineral buildup. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the buzzer that is supposed to sound when cooking is complete doesn't work on my unit. One reviewer said the buzzer is kind of loud and obnoxious, though, so not having one may be more of a blessing than a curse. It certainly isn't a deal-breaker, as the power shuts off when cooking is complete anyway. Hard boiled eggs come out great and are much easier to peel than when boiled in water. The unit comes with a small two-section tray for poached eggs, and that works great as well. I had poached eggs on toast for breakfast the other day, and they were excellent. The little tray is plastic, so make sure you grease the two sections with butter or cooking spray to prevent the eggs from sticking. I'm very happy with this unit. It has a very small countertop footprint, is simple to use and clean, and cooks hard boiled eggs to perfection. If you're on the fence give it a try; I think you'll like it!

The best darn electric egg cooker I have found
It took me a while to use this phenomenal product. I don't have to keep checking on the eggs or water amount. This little beauty will tell you exactly how much water for whatever you're wanting to use in this wonder machine. Then once the time and the water are up. Because it is pre-programmed I believe, as far as the water. It will beep until you literally go in and turn it off. So far I've used it twice and I am not disappointed. *** VERY WISE ADVICE: After it cools down use a sponge with white vinegar to wipe down the hot plate. It just kind of sizzles, any impurities in the water like minerals, or what have you. We live in the Midwest and even though we have a water. Softener and a water filter, it still leaves a little razidu after each use, so I just put some white vinegar on it and it is looking brand new. You will find this very useful AND you don't need a pot full of water. We're talking, maybe 2 oz or 2 and a 1/2 ounces for 6 hard boiled eggs.!!

Only judging the Egg Boiler Function here (not the omelette function)... -Uses way less water than tradional methods. I am talking about 1ounce of water for 6 eggs compared to a couple cups - The boil starts within 15 seconds of pressing the on button thus saving tons in electrical consumption rather than trrying to boil a couple cups. - Eggs stand upright, no bashing into each other due to a rolling boil - The appliance is quiet, user friendly and feels really more safe than a boiling cauldron of water on the stovetop - Cooking times are true, its really 10 minutes for a medium egg + Cool off time of course... - We used to eat lots of eggs over-easy, involing butter and other fats. No we eat straight boiled eggs with salt n pepper. So its definetily healthier for us. I really thought this was a gadget thing, but there are huge advantages to using an egg boiler . Great for seasoned homecooks, families and single people who don't cook as much... Quick, Quiet, Easy to Clean and it WORKS
