Quiet fan perfect for the window sill. In the afternoons it pulls the cold air inside. Mounted on my window sill nicely. Not a high volume fan not expected for size/price. Moves enough air to create a gentle breeze.

I went through a few different fans. Finally stopped when I bought this. I bought this particular size because I have a limit in how much I can open my window. Otherwise, I would totally love to open my window more and get a bigger fan. It's been 2.5 years and now it's on the verge of dying. That may sound negative but hear me out. Firstly, in low speed, it's pretty quiet. I leave it on all night long. Does it move enough air in my 100 sq/ft room? some may say no but it keeps the air from feeling stale (in low speed) so I will say yes. This is my "window" fan as I leave it by the window the whole time. For me, I have this fan on constantly. sometimes 24/7, especially during the Summer time. It will bring in just enough air from the outside to keep the room feeling non-irritating to where I don't feel the need to use an Air conditioner. I live in a climate BTW where the summer days get about 110 F but can drop down to about 75F by dawn on a hot day. The fan has lasted through hot days and cool, windy days and even dusty windy days. The latter - dusty days may have shortened my fan's life as dust may have gotten into the motor and is now causing some issues. The only downside with this fan for me is I can't open it up and clean it. I have attempted but it was pretty hard... and I open up and tear apart many things so I would like to consider myself better than the average person...i'm a tinkerer. Anyway, due to the lack of ability to clean, I believe my fan's life was shortened and now as another summer is around the corner with La Nina said to affect the weather, I am once again shopping for a new fan. I would buy this again but I am going to see if I can find something where i can open up and clean easily. Clean fan and clean blades just makes the air feel crisper to me. So would I recommend this fan? yes I will, as long as size is accomodating to you. It's worked hard over the years and I am mostly happy with the product.

Full disclosure, I just got this today but have had it in my cart for a very long time. I have lived in an older studio apartment for a year plus now which does not have ventilation in the bathroom. It has just one small window to let out the moisture after a shower. I leave the window open when I shower and for a bit after but it always still moist in there. I bought a dehumidifier as well that I run in there but it just doesn't quite get all the moisture out at the rate I would like. I searched for small fans and this one seemed perfect. I contemplated it for a long time though, because the price just felt too steep. I finally saw it get to the lowest it has ever been a few days ago and decided it was time to just buy it. It was never really going to get much cheaper than this. I received it today, a little skeptical but excited. It fits in my window great. I ran it facing out when I took a shower to get the moisture out and then let it run for a while after the shower as well. I noticed the bathroom felt less muggy than it usually does after a shower and the mirror wasn't quite as foggy. It's now late night and I have the fan facing the other way in the small window to pull in the cool air from outside. I like this option as this window is not street-facing so I feel comfortable having it open late at night in the city. Earlier today I also just ran the fan about 10 feet away from me on the coffee table pointed at my desk as I worked on the low setting and it was the perfect amount of cool air flow. It is actually quite powerful. The sound also isn't bothersome. I have an in-wall ac unit and I dislike running it because it is so noisy even on the low setting. This fan is a great solution as I can just keep it on the lowest setting with minimal pleasant white noise and it will keep me cool enough. I am happy I bought the fan!

This little fan is an easy to use powerhouse. During the heat waves this summer, it helped the room stay cool. It has three adjustable settings making it extremely versatile. It is small, but mighty. It is very easy to use. Just pull it out of the box and plug it in. It looks great in the room because it doesn’t take up a lot of space. It’s a high-quality fan.

I'm so glad I found this fan. I bought the exact same looking fan but it was under the Polar Wind brand name and they were the perfect size and put out the perfect amount of air for my desk. Well Meijer stopped carrying them and I was not able to find them at all for years and my poor little fan was starting to get on it's last legs.. suddenly I see these Black & Decker fans here on Amazon and they're the EXACT SAME. Same mold, same shape, everything!! I bought a few so I could store them in case they disappear again but I'm thrilled to have my perfect little fan back!!! Thank you Black & Decker!!

The fan is great, and what I wanted, I judge a fan by how quiet the low speed is. Small Apt. From across the room I don't hear it. I just ordered 3 more. I have two new heating/cooling window units the landlord just put in. This fan goes on top of both units. Another one in the kitchen, I in the bathroom. They are sturdy and have good power from speed med and high. I think the price is very good for such good quality, It's not a low end product.

Bought two of them five years ago. For the most part, it's a good fan - mostly quiet, good airspeed, decent looking. One developed a bit of a rattle, but I discovered you could get rid of that by simply standing it on its side while it runs, or even upside down. HOWEVER - and this is a biggie for me - there is no easy way to clean them. And we all know fans get really gross after a while. It cannot be opened or disassembled to get to the blades. The official instructions say it is NOT intended to be opened for cleaning, and you should poke a damp cloth or sponge THROUGH the grates to clean the blades. C'mon. The openings are 5/16" at their widest. Ridiculous. So - buy it as a throw-away, or don't buy it at all. I'm not sure why this thing has gotten such great reviews.

A most excellent fan. It is effective on the bedroom windowsill at night and on the kitchen counter during the day. Great output and stable.

O cabo de alimentação tem 1,50m de comprimento. Funcionalidade: o ventilador tem um formato que permite ser encaixado em variados tipos de janela, seja para puxar o ar externo quanto para jogar o ar interno para fora. Na velocidade 1 ele é realmente silencioso (51 dB), mas na 2 já começa a ficar ruidoso (60 dB) e no 3 ele chega perto dos 68 dB na minha medição. O fluxo de ar é muito bom, o meu apartamento tem uma ventilação cruzada muito ruim, e este ventilador ajudou a trazer o ar mais fresco para dentro mesmo em dias mais abafados. Uso ele em conjunto com o ventilador de teto para uma maior eficiência.
