An Interesting Read
First, I must make a disclaimer. I think Ben Shapiro is one of the smartest guys on the planet, and if he wrote a book about toilet plungers, I would read it just to find out his take on them. That being said, Ben's observations about election trends and the superficiality of the electorate in making those decisions was fascinating. I'm more interested in why people do what they do than the event itself, and Ben digs deep into the public psyche when it comes to choosing its Commander-in-Chief. His observations were fascinating and brought to life personalities that otherwise sit flatly on the pages of most history books. I recommend this book as a wonderful primer for any political junkie so they can be better equipped to do their own analysis in upcoming elections.

Interesting, but dated
Really a fascinating look at politics over the years. I never thought of Washington as a politician. It does not include elections beyond Bush. There are consistent formatting issues. Sentences run together without a space after the period. If that sort of thing annoys you, you've been warned.

Why Donald Trump's hair is important in 2016 and other hirsute presidential topics
Parts of this were interesting and even hilarious, but some of the rationale in concluding certain points was iffy at best. Of course, the author seemed intent on making points with overkill (ironic humor?), so maybe that's what I was reading. That said, I'd still read it again. Hoped for a bit more but not totally disappointed. Solid three-star rating.

Easy to read
Easy to read, the book does a fantastic job of familiarizing the reader with the long line of men who have held the office of president. If nothing else, the book will help you understand what people mean when they say what is and is not "Presidential"

Short story
I don't know if it is just my kindle, but the book promises all sorts of gossip/items, but delivers very few. It is really a very short entertaining book, but is over with TONS of reference material at the end.

Interesting but sloppy writing
An interesting book, but riddled with small typos and factual errors (Jimmy Carter is referred to as the former Governor of Alabama at one point, etc). A tad disappointing.

When something is rated as non fiction, I expect a balanced review, or at least a book jacket blurb..........this guy loves REAGAN.
