This is the ONLY remaining BRAND NEW 13 Pro. Learn from my experience trying to unlock it.
If you REALLY want a BRAND NEW 13 Pro, then this is the ONLY place you can get one now. You can find them on eBay as well, but they are all scams. Amazon is trustworthy. Why might a person insist on buying a 13 Pro when the 14 series is out? There are four reasons:1) The 13 Pro has identical specs to the regular 14. That’s why Apple immediately discontinued the 13 Pro following the release of the 14.2) The 13 Pro has a better screen than the regular 14 because it has ProMotion (smoother animations).3) The 13 Pro has both a physical SIM card as well as an eSIM. The regular 14 is eSIM-only in the US. This means you have less options and control over your carrier with a regular 14 which can be a problem if you like to swap SIM cards for international travel.4) The Dynamic Island sucks, and the 13 Pro has the old notch instead of the island. In fact, for those who hate Dynamic Island but who really want ProMotion, the 13 Pro is literally your ONLY option for all time. The regular 14 has the notch but not ProMotion, and Apple is completely phasing out the notch with the iPhone 15.Know that this Amazon phone is software-locked to Cricket, but the hardware is fully compatible with all cell providers (as is the case for all modern 4G/5G phones). This means you MUST use Cricket as your provider for at least 6 months before you can unlock the phone and transfer it to a provider of your choice. Now, learn from my experience trying to unlock this phone…First of all, I knew this phone was locked, and I wanted to use Verizon instead of Cricket. I planned to prepay 6 months of service with Cricket to immediately “buy” the unlock code so that I could stay with Verizon. Unfortunately, this didn’t quite work out the way I wanted. When I received the phone I confirmed that it was indeed brand new. You can tell this by using an online lookup tool with the serial number, or just power up the phone, finish the initial setup, and look in Settings > General > About. The Limited Warranty in this section should show a date exactly 2 years in the future… and indeed mine did, so it was definitely brand new. I expected as much since Amazon is the actual vendor here and they are trustworthy. Then I inserted the physical Cricket SIM card sent to me by Amazon, powered up the phone, and went through the setup. Because I was planning to use Verizon, I chose a new random phone number with Cricket. Once the new phone number was working, I tried to setup an online account with Cricket using that phone number, but it didn’t work so I called Cricket. The Cricket support person explained that because it’s an Amazon phone I cannot setup an account with Cricket. Rather, all payments must be handled through Amazon instead of by logging in to Cricket’s site with a Cricket account. When buying the phone, I knew that payments were handled (and could be cancelled) through my Amazon account, but it was not made clear to me that this prevented me from having a Cricket account on Cricket’s site. This upset my plan somewhat because I had planned to prepay the whole 6 months and then unlock the phone entirely online using a Cricket account. Now I can’t do that. So I asked the Cricket support person if I could prepay/unlock with him on the phone. The Cricket support person explained that unlocking a phone on their network isn’t just a matter of payment. It requires a full 6 months of service based on time, not just payment, and of course Cricket itself can’t even receive payment because it’s an Amazon phone. Since prepayment for the purpose of unlocking was no longer an option, I was forced to rethink my plan. I decided to go ahead and use Cricket for 6 months. I asked the Cricket support person to transfer my existing Verizon phone number to my Cricket phone, but this was not possible. The Cricket support person explained that each physical SIM card can only ever have one phone number assigned to it. Since I had already “initialized” the SIM card with a new random phone number, that meant I had to get a new SIM card. That meant calling Amazon since the SIM card was bundled with the phone.I called Amazon and explained the situation. They said they were unable to send me a new SIM card. The only option was to refund the entire phone, ship it back to Amazon, and have them send me a new phone + SIM card. Long story short, it seems as though the Amazon order form automatically creates an association between your account and the SIM card they send you when buying the phone, and the Amazon support people don’t have the ability to create a new association with a new SIM card without the phone also being in the shopping cart. Therefore, they have to refund the entire thing. I didn’t want to do that.I called Cricket back to explain the situation and they clarified something for me. It’s not that the phone itself is bound to my Amazon account like I had originally thought. Only the SIM card is bound to my Amazon account, and only for the purpose of payments. There is no reason I can’t just buy a new Cricket SIM card from my local Target store (in order to use my existing phone #). The only thing to keep in mind is that such a SIM card could no longer service Cricket payments through my Amazon account. Ok fine…I then cancelled payments on the old SIM card in my Amazon account, and I purchased a new Cricket SIM card at Target. I installed the new SIM card and went through the setup process, this time selecting the option to transfer my existing number from Verizon. This worked!Next, I thought about calling Amazon to request a $55 refund for the first month of Cricket service on the old SIM card which I could no longer use. However, I decided to just let it go because I have heard weird stories about phones themselves getting inactivated by vendors when you mess with their integrated payments (such as the partnership between Amazon and Cricket). So I just ate the $55.Now I have a new 13 Pro that is entirely through Cricket (no Amazon) for 6 months, after which I will call Cricket to get an unlock code so that I can go back to Verizon. It was a bit of a pain, but it was due to my incorrect assumptions. I had already accepted the fact that I would have to pay Cricket for 6 months of service. I just didn’t anticipate having to actually USE Cricket for 6 months. Oh well, I’m happy with the phone.I hope others can avoid the hassle by learning from my experience.

Very happy with the phone.
This phone is amazing! Photos are out of this world. Went from iPhone 8 to this. Wow.Now for some reason with this buy it was required to buy a cricket phone plan through Amazon. I already have a cricket account so this was stupid. I was just going to buy the phone then cancel the Amazon required cricket account. Figured it would be just a lost $55.00.But after I made the purchase my Amazon credit card flagged the purchase of the cricket card and canceled payment of it but still processed the phone lol so lucky me. They still sent the card though. So I just threw it in a drawer.

DONT BUY THIS!!
Bought this iPhone with a cricket subscription, I ended up on the phone with Amazon for more than 2 hours trying to activate the new SIM card. Amazon would say it’s Cricket’s responsibility and Cricket would say it’s Amazons. I finally ended up canceling the subscription ,fortunately I had a Cricket SIM card from my old phone that I was able to use. The phone is nice and works perfectly but is locked to Cricket carrier. I did end up getting the 55$ back from the SIM card that didn’t work.

Great iPhone With Lots of Features
My iPhone X was getting on in years, and just wasn’t working as well as it used to. The battery wasn’t working as well either, so I figured it was time to upgrade. I got the 13 Pro with 256 GB of storage so I’d have plenty of room for my photos. It’s been working out well; I’ve got plenty of space and have over 4,000 photos on it. I really like this phone, and hope it gives me years of good service! I highly recommend this phone!
