Can't beat a Maxi Cosi carseat for a small/preemie newborn! This is our second one as we loved our first but have a bit age gap. Our first child was 5lb and our second a tiny 3lb and both have fit nicely and safely when leaving the hospital. The seats fit on to so many different pushchairs and travel systems which is handy. Great value for money and has a lovely comfortable design with the added bonus of not being too heavy for the parents. We have a base for ours but love that you can use the seat belt to secure if using a different vehicle

I bought this as the car seat that came with my travel system, my baby wasn't comfortable in it. Im so glad looked at the reviews on here and purchased it. She now seems comfy and relaxed when she is in it. Makes car journeys less stressful for both of us. I love the fact that it's so light, I can see why this car seat is a classic as it ticks all the boxes with no hefty price tag. Most importantly shes safe and secure in it

Decided to buy this after researching a lot in to car seat safety. This brand kept coming up and I decided to go for the cabriofix for several reasons. It is very sturdy but also comfy for baby and lightweight. I know my boy will probably outgrow it in a few months as a bigger baby but as a newborn it's very supportive. I use rear facing with seatbelt fixing not isofix and feels well protected and stable in the car. Overall I really like the quality and have had no issues so far and would buy from this brand again in the future.

perfect for those small babies. I had a premature baby left hospital weighing 4lb 9 was tiny and no car seats where small enough, this maxi cosi car seat was perfect he fit just right considering he was small. highly recommend

This is an exceptionally light seat - the first thing I noticed about it! When you have a baby to cart around this is important and a real plus point for the seat compared to my previous car seat, which was extremely heavy to lug around. It seems pretty safe - obviously haven’t tested it in a crash! - and fits firmly in place with the ISO fix. However it is also good with just a seatbelt which I have used when we have travelled in taxis and Ubers. My baby really likes it - by that I mean they are sleeping beautifully in it. They seem very comfortable and snug. It’s also very easy to transfer onto our buggy with the clips you can buy. Overall this is a great product - very convenient and safe!

Very good but heavy

I was attracted to this baby car seat due to it being lightweight, and it really is. It is a lot lighter than others I have seen my friends use. With a rotational shoulder injury this was a big win win for me. It is easily inserted into mine and my partners cars as well as attached to our pram. My baby seems to be very comfortable in it and sleeps happily in there. A very smart, functional, easy to fit and safe car seat that I would recommend for being lightweight and comfortable for my little one.

📦 Unboxing: Il seggiolino si presenta ben realizzato, solido e con una buona cura generale dei materiali. La struttura è contenitiva e dà subito una buona sensazione di robustezza, pur mantenendo un peso davvero ridotto, che lo rende facilissimo da trasportare. 👶 Utilizzo: Le fibbie e le regolazioni si adattano bene anche ai neonati, permettendo di tenerli ben contenuti senza risultare eccessivamente costrittive. La forma avvolgente è particolarmente adatta ai primi mesi, quando il bambino ha ancora bisogno di molto sostegno. Anche il maniglione è comodissimo, soprattutto quando bisogna spostare il seggiolino con il bambino all'interno. ☀️ Parasole: Ho apprezzato molto anche il parasole, che non è un semplice accessorio estetico ma copre realmente bene. Soprattutto con un neonato, avere una protezione efficace dalla luce e dal sole è un vantaggio concreto. 🚗 Base ISOFIX (non inclusa): Il CabrioFix i-Size può essere utilizzato sia con la base ISOFIX sia senza, ma personalmente consiglio decisamente l'abbinamento con la base. L'aggancio e lo sgancio sono praticamente immediati: basta un click e si può togliere o rimettere il seggiolino senza stress, cosa che nell'utilizzo quotidiano fa davvero la differenza. 🛒 Compatibilità: Nel nostro caso lo abbiamo utilizzato anche con la base del passeggino Zelia 2, sfruttando gli adattatori forniti in dotazione. È una soluzione molto pratica per spostare il neonato dall'auto al passeggino senza doverlo trasferire continuamente da un supporto all'altro. 💰 Qualità-prezzo: Considerando la qualità costruttiva, il peso contenuto, la praticità del sistema e la possibilità di utilizzarlo in diverse configurazioni, ritengo che abbia un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. 👉 Conclusioni: Un seggiolino che ci ha convinti per solidità, leggerezza e praticità. Contiene bene anche un neonato, è facile da trasportare e il parasole è realmente efficace. La base ISOFIX, pur non essendo indispensabile, secondo me vale particolarmente la pena per la comodità nell'utilizzo quotidiano. Lo consiglio e lo ricomprerei senza dubbi.
