This is absolutely beautiful! Kind of expensive but worth it. Extremely durable beveled edges and rounded corners for safety.

The board arrived and was as stated in the ad. All the sides were finished well and no nicks. You do have to put the feet on yourself and I also have some pads that I bought in the past that I could use if these fall off. I think that gluing something to marble might be a challenge and it might just be easier to set it on something like a silicon matt. It is not all that heavy and I guess that is relative. But it obviously has a nice thickness to it so I am not going to be at all concerned about it breaking. There are no seams that seem like a weak point and I think based on the size of it I would think you would have to hit it with a hammer to break it. The price was better than any other I had seen and the reviews were better too. But with curved corners and the edge finished well I have to think that anyone would be pleased with this board. I suppose if money is no object there might be something better out there but I have been looking for a while at anyone who sold a board of this size and I did not see any that even if the price was much more was any better in quality and function. Perhaps they might send a nicer looking marble but other than knowing that some features of a stone makes it more valuable. If you read the review it seems like most of the criticism about this board and others as well are based on not understanding what they ordered. The pattern of the marble or the weight are not a reason for a negative.

I ordered this marble pastry board to offset an old, ugly dull, black Formica countertop that I’ve pretty much hated for 20 years since we moved to this house! Recently just completed a kitchen refresh, not a full on remodel but surface update. We painted the outdated oak kitchen cabinets a light cream color and switched out old knobs and drawer pulls to a black finish. Also added an updated peel and stick backsplash, under cabinet cabinet lighting and a new light fixture. Think modern farmhouse with the contrasting colors of black and light cream. So this large black marble pastry board just brings the whole look together since it’s substantial and upscale looking. Great for placing hot items or a wine bottle on the countertop. Really love the look!!!

My brother in Christ. I got this to put on a lazy-susan and then a tv on top of that… I didn’t think it through. ITS HEAVY AND MARBLE. Looks great, don’t get me wrong. Huge too. Needless to say, this thing is a cutting board in the kitchen now lol.

Bought to make cream mints/candy per the recipe (pour boiling sugar on chilled marble slab coated in butter). Sturdy, durable, comes with little round disks you can stick to the bottom. Easy to clean after making candy. I've used it for six batches of candy so far, works great. Its heavy, but not crazy. It would probably be too heavy for someone elderly to carry alone, which is probably common sense.

It is not granite or marble or any kind of real stone. I saw after I purchased it that people said in the reviews that it was made in China. I bought it as a gift and I didn't see it at first when he got it, but when I came down and sliced some cheese on it, the next day it's covered in scratches. If it was real stone that would not happen. I had tried to purchase the same as the one I had which is real granite and does not scratch when you use it, but unfortunately, I could not get it in time for christmas and they kept getting delayed with shipping, so after three attempts I bought this, do not waste your money.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for a family member known to be an excellent baker. This is so beautiful, heavy natural marble that should be durable. It is a remarkable addition to his kitchen

Beautifully made and quality stone. I’ve had it for over 4 months now and I love it. A pain to wash because you must be very careful setting it down, but overall much healthier than plastic or wood. I would hands down order again
