Honestly...I'm shocked!!!
I couldn’t be happier with the Perfect Draft offset BBQ blower. Setup was quick and simple, and within minutes I had it running smoothly on my Old Country Brazos smoker. The difference it makes is incredible—it puts out a nice, steady stream of clean smoke that really improves the consistency of the cook. Battery life is excellent, which is a big plus for longer smoking sessions. I was able to run it for hours without worrying about swapping or recharging, which gave me peace of mind and let me focus on the food instead of constantly tending the fire. Performance-wise, it went above and beyond what I expected. The airflow is just right, not overpowering, and it keeps the temperature rock solid. My cooks have been noticeably easier and the results speak for themselves. If you’re running an offset like the Brazos and want to take a lot of the babysitting out of the process, this blower is a game changer. Highly recommend it!

Works Great
Works great. Ordered for my brother he added it to his BBQ Pit, he loves it.

Not enough power for big smokers, not enough autonomic for small ones
I was excited to try this out, but have been disappointed. The InkBird type alternatives don't blow enough air, which makes them virtually useless for anything other than a coal grill. This one blows more, but still not enough depending on your smoker cooking chamber to fire box ratio. Also, you have a manual control and a probe control, but not having a remote or app control is such a bad design flaw and here's why: If you have a small offset / stick burner and are keeping an eye on the temp with a remote thermometer setup, this will keep your temp at the desired rate, but once the sticks are gone and you only have coal and ash bed left in the fire box, this thing will just ramp up the fan speed and you won't be able to tell your temperature drop speed has increased and the smoker needs more wood. The result is that by the time you realize the temp drop, is because this thing has pretty much run through not only the wood, but most of the remaining coal, and now the remaining coal bed is not hot enough to ignite your next piece of wood. Maybe the manufacturer can reach out and help me figure out what I'm doing wrong, but if this had a way to adjust the fan manually but from a distance, I think it would be my product of choice. But as it is, this blower doesn't blow enough air to properly maintain temperature on my double chamber smoker, and didn't work for my smaller stick burner either (I mean, of I'm still gonna have to keep going out every 20 min to check if this isn't morning thru my coal bed, I might as well use a $25 electric bellows instead of dropping $300 on this guy)

Makes all the difference!!
The Perfect Draft makes all the difference to my offset smoker. Not only does it make it easier to start the fire, but the entire smoking process is less hassle. It allows you to keep an even temperature which definitely improved the flavor, and prevented me from over cooking. Its so easy to install and operate, I don’t understand why every offset does not come with one!

The Perfect Draft Blower is a game changer.
We run our HBT smoker for a lot of charitable events and fund raisers. Whole hogs, brisket, butts, turkey, etc. Long smokes. The HBT smoker is a great piece of equipment, but the addition of the Perfect Draft makes this whole setup a game changer. Consistent temperature control is as easy as setting the probe in the correct location and imputing the desired temperature on the blower dial. all that's left is to just feed the fire box. The Perfect Draft is also great for cold smoking cheeses and slab bacon. I use it with a pellet smoke tube and fill the whole chamber with cool smoke. We love it.

You 'may' have to engineer a solution to use this
I think the owner/principal behind the company is pretty responsive and sells a generally-good product. I think the 'adapter' doesn't cover all possible smokers well, but with a small amount of modification on my part (using some pretty specific tools), I've got it working right. My intent with this was to force and hold temperature in my larger offset smoker. I felt I could not get clean smoke and hot enough to do chicken well in my large pit. I was thwarted by the 'pie section' radius of the inlet damper being 8.5" in diameter (the adapter assumes an 8" or smaller inlet). The 'push' tab on the inner damper interfered with the fit, so I cut a notch in the (part of the kit) adapter to relieve the tab, I cut this with an air-powered die grinder/cutoff wheel, then used a 4-1/2" grinder to widen the cut/allow some play. I then taped off the 'pie sections' of the vent where the adapter left it uncovered, taped with high-temp flue tape (for wood stove chimneys). Works like a charm, gets my (large) pit up to 350' F for chicken and has the added benefit of closed-loop temp control at any lower temp. Balancing the maximum temp via the chimney damper is a pretty-easy-to-get concept, won't take you long to get the hang of it. So, for doing chicken or powering through a huge fuel load (like overnight brisket through the stall), this is the trick. Just expect to have to modify it yourself for anything more 'pro' than, say, your Oklahoma Joe Longhorn offset. FWIW, my smoker was (when it started life) an Old Country Brazos, and now is something completely other/modified; I've been 'cuing a really long time and now have the offset rig I've wanted. This product (the PerfectDraft blower) kinda closes the loop on 'things I want for my smoker'. Last note: yes, this is kind of a fancy enclosure for a circuit board, battery, and 6" computer case fan, but it's a well thought-out fancy enclosure with high MTTF and high battery capacity. I'd give it 5 stars if it had an option for a 10" adapter ring, and I may come back later (after more cooks with it) and rate it 5 stars anyway.

Helps with fire management and fuel consumption
I bought this for use with my Chargriller Smokin Aces offset. It wouldn't work because the firebox was small and the collar was too big. I wanted a larger offset anyways so I went with an OJ/Highland. The collar fit much better, but it required some modifications. I needed a hole for the collar. My hole saw wouldn't do it so I used an angle grinder and it cut though easily. I mounted the collar with bolts and painted it. I seasoned the grill but ran into issues. I had a lot of temperature swings, but it was due to leaking. I bought some bbq gasket and sealed up the doors and ash drawer. It was night and day. First cook was a pork loin and ribs. I had excellent fire control. I used less wood than normal. I could bump up temperature with the knob on the perfect draft. It comes with a probe that you can clip to the grate. The perfect draft had the same temperature as what my meater probe read.

Doesn’t last long
I liked the fact it’s easy to use and it works great but for my long uses it has stopped working at times and then a few days later it’ll start up on its own that goes for both units I own
