I received this gimbal yesterday and intend to use it with a Galaxy Note 9. It was left to charge overnight so that when I began using it there was a full charge.After some muddling around and not getting the thing balanced like I think it should be I actually cracked open the manual. Guess what, the manual helped immensely. I was getting a red light at the bottom of the battery charge level LEDs which indicated the motors were working too hard to maintain balance, getting warm, and then my phone would drop off at a 45 degree angle for a bit... then reset. Followed the manual and it started working like champ.What isn't intuitive (at least to me) is that you have to manually balance the gimbal. Put the phone in and see if the phone remains level. If not, then adjust by loosening the left right screw and slide the phone left or right until it stays level. Took me a bit to discover that. I almost sent it back.First impressions are great once you realize this isn't like a GoPro gimbal which rotates 360+ using your thumb. This gimbal is first and foremost a stabilizer. You cannot direct the camera through thumb manipulation, it's only done by turning the entire gimbal. This also applies to left and right, up and down. You manually point at your subject. The gimbal then keeps pointed that way, or not, depending on PF/L setting. It's been sitting on my desk now for 6 hours and the gimbal battery shown on the app is still on 100%. I'm not sure if that's a glitch or it's not using much power because I'm not walking around with it.The App works great with my Android even though the Play Store description warns it may not be fully compatible. Haven't tried object tracking yet.Pro: Price, battery life, comes with a tripod, App is easy to use and understand, quick Bluetooth connection.Con: The wheel changing zoom and focus is jerky on the screen and not smooth at all, you have to remove any case on your phone before it will balance properly, 6 step balancing isn't easy to find, a bit on the heavy side.

I am having some issues with the new iPhone 8 Plus, but you just need to be patient with the calibration thing. Instead of that, is a great product, worth it each penny. And this gadget is allowed to enter at Disney and Universal cause is not a "selfie stick" (it is not permit to go inside Disney with a selfie stick!). I think is great and I recommend this for you guies!!

The media could not be loaded.  Let me start off by saying that this Zhiyun Smooth-Q 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer has far surpassed my expectations. When I opened my Amazon box and saw the packaging I was immediately impressed by how professional and high-quality everything looked, and once I opened the actual box itself I was blown away by how nice everything was. The carrying case for the gimbal is extremely high quality and the company has definitely paid very close attention to detail with the brushed metal finish on it. Very well done. I then turned the gimbal on and was even further blown away, it rotates so smooth and effortlessly with zero noise. I was immediately excited to try it out on video so I ran down my street while jumping and moving side to side while recording and let me tell you..this gimbal is no joke. It works absolutely perfectly. It held my phone perfectly straight and recorded perfectly with no jerking at all. The joystick is so easy to use and the handle is very comfortable to hold. I am extremely impressed by this product and it is easily worth every penny. I put the Shenzhen Eyes4u Technology Co.'s gimbals above ANY on the market. It easily outperforms any other that I have used and it is such a pleasure to own. The battery life on it is incredible as well. 12 hours of continuous use on a single charge is just mind-blowing. The attention to such perfect detail and it's superior technology makes this gimbal the best purchase I have made in a very long time. I recommend this product to literally anybody. Whether you have a passion for videography or you just enjoy to make cool videos in your spare time this is the product to buy. You simply can't beat the price or really anything about it. Phenomenal product to say the least. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

I've had this awesome gimbal for a while now and all I can say is that it is great!Software support works for Windows and MACOSX and the mobile phone apps work also on Apple IOS and Android!Tested gimbal with iphone 6+ WITH case and external lens and it had no issues with stabilization!With the weight of the iphone, case and lens, I still did not need to add counter balance weight as it is now not needed.Right out of the box it is very straight forward, not complicated at all and is very easy to use.I am also able to charge my phone using the battery/USB port on the gimbal.If needed, I am able to attached a battery bank to the gimbal to allow the gimbal to operate for an extended time while charging!One thing I can definitely appreciate is that there is a ¼-20 thread at the bottom making this so easy to mount on a mini or normal sized tripod.I move the gimbal from one tripod to the next or have one always attached allowing me to set it down while creating my youtube videos. I can also carry my gimbal on a rapid strap.At this price point, it is hard to go wrong!!

Gimbals like this are becoming so popular and common for shooting amazing cell phone video. It's a night and day difference. This works exactly as advertised. It's very important to read the included instructions to get it balanced correctly... And to understand the difference between the 3 shooting modes.I use this to shoot video home tours for my real estate business. The difference between using a gimbal or not is the difference between a very professional looking video and an amateur video. You need every edge you can get. This is an item that has already paid for itself many times. Very happy and I plan to take it to Disney for an upcoming vacation. Thanks!

Première étape : la calibration. Rien de bien compliqué, on insère le smartphone que l’on cale dans le support prévu à cet effet, on ajuste la pince afin que le smartphone soit centré pour qu’il puisse tourner sans frotter, ensuite il suffit de régler l’horizontalité du smartphone grâce à une vis d’ajustement et c’est terminé. Le stabilisateur est prêt à l’usage, il suffit simplement de le démarrer en appuyant quelques secondes sur le bouton d’enregistrement. Il est bien sur possible d’utiliser le Smooth-Q avec un smartphone en mode portrait. Pour plus de fonctionnalité il est possible de se connecter en Bluetooth à la gimbal avec son smartphone à l’aide de l’application Zhyiun Play disponible sur IOS et Android. L’application vous apporte des fonctionnalités intelligentes comme la fonction timelapses, panoramas photo, ou le tracking sur une personne, un animal en mouvement, cela vous permet de suivre une personne en « dessinant » un carré autour de son corps depuis l’application mobile. Le stabilisateur vous suivra alors à droite, gauche, en bas, en haut, enfin bref, partout. Attention tout de même à ne pas bouger trop vite car si vous sortez du champs le stabilisateur vous perd.Les différents modes :Au niveau des différents modes, rien de plus simple. En allumant votre stabilisateur, le mode par défaut et le head and follow mode qui permet de converser l’horizon au même niveau et suivra les mouvements de votre perche.Le second mode, en appuyant une fois sur le bouton « mode », bloque la vue sur un point précis et le stabilisateur fera toujours en sorte que votre caméra regarde vers ce point, très pratique lorsque l’on est en mouvement et que l’on souhaite filmer un point fixe. Le troisième mode, en appuyant deux fois sur le bouton « mode » permet de débloquer l’axe panoramique et suivra les mouvements si l’on regarde vers le ciel ou vers le sol.Le dernier mode, en appuyant trois fois sur le bouton « mode » permet de passer en selfie.Mon avis :Il m’a fallu moins de 3 minutes pour mettre en place mon iPhone 7 sur le Smooth Q, n’importe qui peut ensuite filmer des vidéos d’une qualité assez incroyable. En pratique le stabilisateur est d’une simplicité déroutante, les résultats sont très satisfaisants même si je pense qu’il a encore quelque amélioration possible. Les secousses liées à la marche sont les plus difficiles à stabiliser, et parfois il arrive que certaines vibrations se voient à l’écran. Il existe une méthode afin de réduire ces vibrations qui consiste à fléchir légèrement les genoux, et marcher en faisant des petits pas, sans bruit. La batterie tient ses promesses. De mon coté, j’ai réussi à atteindre les 10 heures sans recharger le gimbal.Pour finir, je dirais que malgré quelques petits défauts je vous recommande ce stabilisateur car avec son prix imbattable de 149 euros et au vu de sa facilité de prise en main, il ravira toute les personnes désireuses de faire de belle vidéos

Ich habe mir schon geraume Zeit Gedanken gemacht, ob ich mir einen Gimbal zulegen sollte. Da ich eine GoPro Hero 4 habe, konnte ich von einem Kollegen mal seinen GoPro Gimbal testen. Die Möglichkeiten waren nicht schlecht, aber der Preis war mir einfach zu hoch. Nachdem ich mir nun ein iPhone X zugelegt habe, gingen meine Überlegungen weiter. Das iPhone macht nicht nur super Fotos, sondern unterstützt nun auch 4K Videoaufnahmen mit bis zu 60 fps.Nach einigen Recherchen im Internet bin ich auf diesen Gimbal aufmerksam geworden. Diverser Kunden nennen diesen Gimbal schon ihr eigen und haben Erfahrungsberichte und Videos gepostet. Daher will ich auch gar nicht sooooo ins Detail gehen, sondern das Augenmerk auf die Zusammenarbeit mit dem iPhone X legen.Geliefert wird der Gimbal in einem normalen Karton. Innenliegend findet man dann neben einem Ladekabel, einem Trageband (für die Tasche), der Bedienungsanleitung einen kleinen „Geigenkoffer“. Hier drin liegt dann sicher verpackt der Gimbal. Ein Ladegerät ist nicht Bestandteil des Sets. Aber da wird nun schon fast jeder einen entsprechenden USB-Ladestecker sein eigen nennen können.Die Bedienungsanleitung für den Smooth-Q liegt in der Version 1.2 dabei. Sie ist komplett in englischer Sprache gehalten. Diverse Bilder machen aber das Verstehen leicht. Hier wird nun Step-by-Step die Ersteinrichtung durchgeführt, die Bedienelemente und die Einrichtung der App erklärt. Auch wenn es in englischer Sprache gehalten ist, kommt man doch recht gut damit zurecht. Weitere Infos zum Gimbal lassen sich auch auf der Herstellerseite einsehen bzw. herunterladen.Der Gimbal selber ist überraschend leicht. Er wiegt nur 440 gr. und der Akku ist da schon inbegriffen. Im Vergleich dazu wiegt der DJI Osmo Mobile schon 501 gr. Und gerade beim längeren Filmen macht sich das schon bemerkbar. Hinzu kommt ja auch noch das Gewicht des Smartphones. Hier habe ich auch erst einmal geschaut, ob das iPhone X überhaupt für den Smooth 3 geeignet ist. Das iPhone X wiegt 174 gr. und ist somit für den Gimbal geeignet. Dieser kann Geräte bis zu 220 gr. aufnehmen.Der Handgriff, indem der Li-Io Akku integriert ist, ist aus schwarzen Kunstoff gefertigt. Durch die ergonomische Form des Griffes liegt dieser gut in der Hand. Hier hätte ich mir ein wenig mehr Gripp gewünscht. Werde mir aber noch mal Gedanken machen, ob man das irgendwie nachrüsten kann. Die Bedienelemente sind mit dem Daumen gut zu erreichen. Unten befindet sich ein abgedeckter USB-Anschluss. Dieser ist dazu geeignet, sein Smartphone oder andere Devices aufzuladen. Im Betrieb ist dies jedoch nicht möglich. Unten befindet sich noch ein Gewinde, um den Gimbal auf ein Stativ aufzuschrauben. Dies ist z.B. bei Time-Lap Aufnahmen sinnvoll. Links neben dem Bedienelement ist ein Micro-USB Eingang. Hier kann man den Gimbal an einen Rechner anschließen, um zum Beispiel ein Firmware-Update durchzuführen oder den Akku aufladen. Die Aufladung dauert ca. drei Stunden. Die Betriebszeit wird mit 12 Stunden angegeben. Dies ist schon gut dimensioniert.Der obere bewegliche Teil ist bis auf die Aufnahmeschale aus Metall hergestellt. Hier finden sich die drei Drehachsen. Alles ist ordentlich verarbeitet und sieht hochwertig aus. Der Gimbal braucht sich vor seiner hochpreisigen Konkurrenz nicht verstecken. Die Halterung für das Smartphone ist von allen Seiten gummiert. Die Spangen lassen sich auf das gewünschte Maß auseinander ziehen. Dann legt man das Gerät ein und die Spangen halten es fest und stabil. Ein Herausrutschen ist nicht möglich. Das iPhone 10 passt hervorragend in die Schale. Ich kann sogar eine Schutzhülle an dem iPhone belassen.Zur besseren Bedienung sollte man sich die App aus dem Apple App Store herunterladen. Diese liegt in Version 2.3.4 (Stand 18.11.2017) vor. Unter anderem wurde hier die Kompatibilität mit dem iPhone X zugefügt.Bevor man den Gimbal einschaltet, sollte eine erste vertikale Ausrichtung durchgeführt werden. Dies lässt sich mit einer Stellschraube und einem kleinen Schlitten durchführen. Danach kann man den Gimbal in Funktion nehmen.Hierzu drückt man den roten Power-Button. Der Motor startet und bringt den Gimbal in seine Startposition. Auffallend ist hier schon das leise, eigentlich nicht wahrnehmbare Motorengeräusch. Nun kann man entweder das iPhone ohne die App in Betrieb nehmen und den Gimbal nutzen, oder die App starten. Natürlich ist die App vom Vorteil. Ohne diese, muss man halt die Foto- oder Video Funktion manuell starten und beenden. Die App ist da wesentlich einfacher. Nach Start der App wird das iPhone gesucht und bei Bluetooth verbunden. Nach erfolgreicher Verbindung startet das Aufnahmemenü. Hier kann an diverse Funktionen einstellen. Es ähnelt diversen Kamera Apps und liefert eine Vielzahl von Einstellungen. Der Gimbal wird als „SmoothQ“ erkannt und die Software als Version 1.6. Mit den Bedienelementen lassen sich verschiedene Modi durchschalten (freie Bewegung, Verfolgungsmodus oder Selfiemodus). Mit dem Joystick läßt sich der Gimbal zusätzlich neigen oder drehen. Man kann die Kamera auch so programmieren, das es einen vorbestimmte Kamerafahrt automatisch ausführt, oder einem Objekt automatisch folgt. Wenn man die Automatik nicht haben möchte, kann man auch die Einstellungen manuell durchführen. Hier sind für den Benutzer keine Grenzen gesetzt und auch ich habe noch nicht alles Funktionen ausprobieren können.Das iPhone X läßt sich vertikal oder horizontal nutzen. Dazu muss nur manuell die Halteschale gedreht werden. Auch hierzu gibt es eine Stellschraube. Vom Vorteil ist auch, das ich meine GoPro Hero 4 in die Halterung einsetzen kann. Ich sehe dann zwar nicht mehr den Monitor, kann dies aber per GoPro Fernsteuerung mit dem iPhone verfolgen.Ich werde meine Rezension bei weiteren Erfahrungen erweitern. Zusammenfassend kann ich nur sagen, das ich mit dem Gimbal zufrieden bin. Er tut was er soll und unterstützt diverse Funktionen. Die Ergebnisse können sich sehen lassen. Das iPhone X wird wie gewünscht unterstützt und der Hersteller arbeitete regelmäßig an Verbesserungen der App und gibt diese schnell an den Anwender weiter. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist einfach unschlagbar!

Ho da poco ricevuto lo stabilizzatore Smooth Q della Zhiyun, inviato dal venditore Shenzhen Eyes4u Technology.La spedizione è arrivata con 4 giorni di anticipo, in confezione perfettamente imballata e gratuitamente.Il contenuto della confezione era il Gimbal, una custodia efficientissima e rigida, una tracolla ed un cavo micro-USB per la ricarica.Il Gimbal pesa quasi 400 g, è di plastica nera piacevole al tatto e resistente, ed io l'ho utilizzato con il mio Iphone 6 PLUS che alloggia perfettamente nel dispositivo ad incastro; è possibile mettere lo smartphone sia in posizione verticale che orizzontale. Il Gimbal è intuitivo e dopo una brevissima calibratura meccanica (per "alleggerire" il lavoro dei motori) si è immediatamente accoppiato mediante Bluetooth al mio Iphone dove ho potuto utilizzare l'APP ZY PLAY.Il dispositivo dunque lavora sui tre assi e si possono scegliere 3 modalità: full, lock, follow tutte attivabili direttamente dal pannello di controllo tramite il tasto mode.Full: il gimbal ammortizza i movimenti su tutti gli assi, è la modalità ideale per l’utilizzo standard, mentre si cammina etc.Follow: il gimbal ammortizza i movimenti orizzontali mentre è bloccato il movimento verticale.Lock: il gimbal rimane bloccato qualsiasi sia il movimento.Le diverse modalità si possono attivare dal tasto mode sul manico e cliccando 3 volte sul tasto si attiva rotazione di 180 gradi del Gimbal per la modalità selfie. Sul manico vi sono tutti i tasti necessari (accessione/registrazione-scatto; zoom; tasto per cambiare la modalità).Con l'APP sullo Smartphone è possibile anche attivare il track motion che, benché non rapidissimo, può seguire un soggetto o oggetto cliccando direttamente sull'immagine interessata sullo Smartphone.L'app è intuitiva e secondo me utile per migliorare qualità di immagini, ma anche senza App l'oggetto è ottimo.La batteria dura più di 10 ore e si può utilizzare come power bank per lo smartphone!Io mi sono trovato benissimo con le mie riprese amatoriali e nei video da condividere sui social! direi che è perfetto come rapporto prezzo-qualità perché un costo di circa 300 euro per un modello immediatamente superiore non è giustificabile, almenocchè siate dei professionisti, ma a questo punto non avete necessità di fare foto e video con lo smartphone.Lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole divertirsi con lo smartphone (ma credo che anche la go pro vada bene con qualche adattatore) a fare dei video e foto di migliore/ottima qualità! Per me che amo correre ed andare in bici è stata la svolta.E' il miglior prodotto per prezzo in questa fascia. Nessun problema di calibrazione (bisogna solo leggere attentamente le istruzioni, ma questo vale per tutti i dispositivi tipo questo) ed il dispositivo è ottimo per l'utilizzo amatoriale/avanzato ed intuitivo.Contentissimo dell'acquisto

La confezione che contiene il prodotto è molto minimale, ma ben fornita. All’interno della confezione si trova una custodia con al suo interno llo stabilizzatore, il libretto delle istruzioni, il cavo della ricarica ed una cinghia per appenderlo al collo.⚒ UTILIZZOIl prodotto è molto semplice da usare, ma sopratutto funzionale. Basta agganciare il proprio smartphone, regolare con l’apposita vite il baricentro dello stabilizzatore e accenderlo. L’impugnatura è solida e non si sente il peso anche dopo diverso tempo che lo si usa. La costruzione generale, anche se in plastica, è veramente buona in quanto contribuisce a dare una sensazione di solidità generale. Laddove viene agganciato il telefono sono presenti dei gommini per non rovinare la scocca nel caso fosse sprovvisto di cover. Sul manico troviamo i comandi che consistono in tasto di accensione e spegnimento, tasto modalità, tasto per la registrazione e piccolo joystic per eseguire i pan o i tilt. Il sistema di stabilizzazione funziona molto bene; permette di decidere, tramite il tasto modalità, quali assi bloccare.
