Starfiber Starpro Microfiber Mop Kit

I purchased the same mop a year ago. I used it extremely extensively for a little over a year, and finally, the pole broke. Bought a new one to replace the old one. New one almost as great, but some details seemed not to be as good as the old one.Excellent service from the company. Got the product way ahead of the promised date, and when I contacted them for a little defect of the mop, they replied my email in no time. They only asked for a picture of the defect, and sent me a new one at no charge the next day!!

I had bought a similar cheaper model of this mop a few years back. It worked decent, but then one day it broke in half and the metal cut me. It was cheaply made, but did the job for a while. This on the other hand, is very sturdy. The microfiber glides easily over the floors and doesn't push against you like the old one. If you own your home, I think this is a worthwhile investment over the cheaper options. It's American & Italian made (I believe) which is one thing I really like. I can definitely tell the difference in the quality. I have a feeling this mop will last many years.

We have laminate floors, and were searching for an appropriate floor cleaner. We found the Starfiber mop, and have been very happy with it. It's easy to use (just spray water on the floor), but I cannot always get up the most stuck-on pieces. We have two pads, which will clean the whole house. We toss them in the washing machine (no fabric softener) and let them air dry.

Just wanted everyone to know - this mop lasted us 4 years. We used it 1x a week on 3500 sq.feet of hardwood floors. (ugh... i know, right?) The pads pick up more than any other microfiber pad we've tried, and the mop itself has been pretty sturdy. Kind of surprised it lasted this long.On a side note, when we moved into a new home a few years ago - we had cleaners come to get the old home-owners grime out... they broke 2 mops trying to mop all this hard-wood, so that's a testament to how this one is made.

No longer made in USA and the quality has gone down from the first set I bought a few years ago. The base is not as heavy and the cleaning pads are not as dense. Design remains the same and that is the good part. The dust pad is new for me and so far I like it. Bottom line is that it is still a good value and does a great job on wood floors throughout my house.

This mop is the best. I bought one years ago at one of the home shows here in LA after installing hardwood floors throughout my home. It glides so smoothly over the floors and the design makes it easy to get under things. When I'm done if the pad is really dirty after a few uses I just remove it from the base and throw it in the washer and dryer, reattach it to the velcro on the base of the mop and I'm good to go again. So easy. I Absolutely love it.

This item lives up to the hype. With the Starfiber mop we don't need to use any cleaner on the floor -- just water. And cleanup is very easy.My one issue is that the pads didn't last the warranted three years the first two times around. And the handle broke just after that. But it got A LOT of use.
