Perfect Seat! (narrow, spacious, safe, and comfortable)
I’ve waited a couple of months before writing a review, to test it out fully. I have a Toyota Corolla 2011, and this fits pretty great! We needed a good-sized convertible car-seat, but also one that didn’t take up too much space where the front seat is impossible to sit in - like others. The cup holders and the ability for them to retract is a big space saver and it keeps them clean! It’s also narrow which allows for 2 adult passengers to sit in the back with the car seat with no problem. Assembly: I read the manual before even attempting to try anything and took it apart (to wash) which really helped my learn it all so installing was really easy. Once latched, it does not move AT ALL. I’m very impressed with it. Leg room: My baby was 1 when we got this because he was already way too tall for his regular baby seat. The leg space for it was definitely an improvement! There are 2 settings in rear-facing so he’s had great leg space. I’ve also noticed that he can tries to push himself from the backseat and the car seat doesn’t move a centimeter! Before he would be able to kick himself and the old car seat would move as he did that. Safety & Comfortability: As I mentioned above, it does not move at all after installed. Additionally, the cushions around the entire piece are stable and very soft. He’s much more comfortable in this than any other car seat I’ve put him in. The head area is very adjustable and I see us using this for many years. Great investment! I will be buying another one for our second car.

Safety #1, worth the money
Safety is my #1 priority when choosing a car seat, followed by durability, and this one checks both boxes for me. I really like that this car seat grows with my daughter, which means I shouldn't have to keep purchasing new car seats as she gets older. The price is also pretty reasonable compared with other car seats I've looked at. It's definitely not the cheapest option, but I think the price is fair for what you get. It is a little heavy, although I would consider it on the lower end of average compared with other car seats I've used or looked at. The two cup holders are a great feature. They give my daughter a convenient place for her cup, snacks, or toys without having everything loose in the car. Installation was surprisingly easy, and getting the seat securely hooked in and adjusted wasn't difficult. I also really like the slim design. It still takes up enough space that I can only fit two car seats across the back row of my Chevy Equinox, so someone can't comfortably sit in the middle, but I can't really complain because the seat itself is much slimmer than many other options. It's also easy to clean and easy to get my daughter in and out of. Overall, this has been a great car seat for us and, considering the safety features, longevity, and convenience, I think it's worth the money.

Amazing!!
I previously had the Safety 1st Grow and Go 3 in 1 convertible car seat. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it but for some reason I didn’t love it. As a first time Mom I didn’t know which car seat to get. I started looking at the Graco SlimFit because my backseat is not very big. I decided to get this when it was on sale and give it a try. I took it out of the box, which was packaged very well, and was impressed simply by how it looked. I then started reading the manual and testing it out. I had my little on sit in it to get it fitted before installing it. I then realized that fitting it to him is much easier than my safety first carseat. There is a fantastic headrest and harness adjusting button at the top of the headrest. This function is so nice! I don't have to take the carseat out of the car to adjust the harness straps anymore! As for comfort, my little one seemed to like it when I was sizing it to him. The headrest is much more cushioned and protected compared to the safety first carseat. Included is an extra cushion pillow that can easily be removed from the main part of the seat and the head rest area. Compared to my safety first carseat, this one is much slimmer which is great for smaller backseats. It also has cupholders that can collapse so you save space when they are not being used. Installation was so easy! The anchor straps are awesome and click in like a seatbelt. I had my old one taken out and this one installed in 10 min! Small bonus, there is storage for the anchor strap when it is not being used. There is also a small storage compartment on the back for the owners manual. I know a lot people don't care about the manual but I like to know I can find it when I would need it!

Can never go wrong with a Graco
Had a Graco infant car seat and then we move on to the Graco SlimFit. We have been impressed with Graco. Very durable, easy to install. Even fits in our side by side. Love that it can grow with our child. Graco products are a big hit in our house.

Very pleased with our purchase!!
I usually spend way too much time online and in stores looking at and comparing products for my kids (drives my husband nuts). Plus, I'm always trying to find the best deal and bang for our buck. When it came time to upgrade to a bigger car seat for my daughter, it was no different. After going to multiple stores, reading reviews and comparing car seats, I finally decided on this Slimfit Graco car seat. Product came pretty quickly in the mail and then I let it sit in my entryway, unboxed for a few days as I was struggling to make the big switch from the infant car seat to the "big girl" car seat. Throughout those few days, my daughter had a ton of fun getting in and out and seemed to fully accept her new ride. I also had time to check it out several times as I passed by it and came to really appreciate the choice I had made. Seemed like a sturdy, well-made seat with quality fabric. I love that there are options as to reclining it, so I don't have to worry about my daughters head falling forward when asleep. Haven't compared it to the other convertible car seat that I have, but I'm sure it might recline a little more while forward facing to help prevent the same issue when my daughter gets older. The head rest moves up and down so easily, which also automatically adjusts the shoulder straps! As in, I don't have to take the whole thing out to thread shoulder straps through layers of material. Genius! Another attribute that I loved about this seat was that the armrests were a lower profile than some, which makes it easier to get my daughter in and out while having to reach over another car seat to access the middle seat. I was also happy to see it's equipped with the nice push button latches instead of the metal clips that you have to squeeze, so easy to install! One of the reasons I got the SlimFit model was because I have three car seats to make room for and at times need to have access to my third row when watching additional kiddos. With the new car seat in the middle, another convertible car seat to one side and a booster on the other, my 5 yr old has no issues reaching down in between the seats to buckle her belt. It can get pretty cramped in any vehicle and can cause frustration. Folding up the single seat of my 60/40 bench seat in the second row for kids to move to the back in the 3rd row, the seat easily folds up and is not limited by the width of the new car seat. Having the cup holders folded in helped with that also. Anyway, this is now officially the longest review I've written. I guess I'm just that pleased with our purchase! Although it wouldn't take much to move it to another vehicle, I could see buying a second SlimFit seat for my husbands truck to make things even easier when he has the kids.

Perfect Space-Saving Car Seat That Grows with Your Child
I’ve been using the Graco SlimFit 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat in the Darcie pattern for a few weeks now, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The biggest win for me is the space-saving design—our car isn’t huge, and this seat fits perfectly without feeling bulky or crowding the backseat. It’s also been really convenient having one seat that transitions from rear-facing to forward-facing to a booster. It feels like a smart long-term investment. Installation was pretty straightforward (we used the LATCH system), and once installed, it feels super secure. My daughter seems really comfortable in it, and I like that the headrest has 10 adjustable positions—it’s easy to find the right fit as she grows. The cup holders are a nice touch too, and I appreciate that they rotate in to save space. Overall, it’s sturdy, safe, and practical. Highly recommend for anyone looking to save space without sacrificing quality or comfort.

I really like this seat, BUT...
I looked at a million reviews of car seats for my 13 month old. I decided to go with Graco brand bc they seem to check most of the boxes. I really wanted the 4ever DXL (or whatever it’s called), but I didn’t have the money and had to buy one like yesterday. I will list the pros and cons of what I’ve found since I purchased this one. Pros: Most importantly, this model is among the car seats on the safety list. It’s very sturdy and great quality. The cushion is very soft and comfy. It’s very easy to install (Husband and I watched a video and installed in less than 10 minutes.) I love you can adjust the harness with the headrest. With captain chairs and a single car seat, the width is not a problem, but it would help a little if I did while still being spacious and comfy for my baby. I love it has 2 cup holders that will hold my baby’s favorite sippy cup that’s pretty wide. (I saw reviews of another car seat that had square cup holders that wouldn’t hold normal sized cups.) I love this one converts to a booster seat so I don’t have to purchase a new one for a few years. Cons: It only has 2 recline settings in rear facing position, and my baby seems to sit higher than I’d prefer especially when sleeping, though he doesn’t seem too uncomfortable. My baby is 31” long, and his feet are already touching the seat. I’m not sure how he’s supposed to be rear facing until 40” or 2 years old. I almost bought the extended rear facing seat, but it didn’t convert to a booster so I went with this one. Now, I wish I had. I have captain chairs in my small suv (Buick Enclave), and it doesn’t sit level, which is probably an issue with other brands as well. Even the booklet tells you to put a towel under it which makes me extremely uncomfortable. Also, we still have to keep our passenger seat pushed up a little bc it’s too wide. My husband is 6’ 3” so it’s more of a problem to him than me at 5 ft. Overall, I really like this car seat and the pros outweigh the cons by far.

So far so good! Seems comfortable, light and easy to install
Rear Facing review: Likes: ****Small footprint, still big for my little Chevy Cruze but it works for me and my two kids, husband can’t fit comfortably though. *****Lightweight (I’m 5’ tall and less than 100 pounds) and can easily carry it from vehicle to vehicle, adjust it and move it in and out of vehicle to rearrange if needed *****Easy to install, I had to have my husband pull the first strap tight enough for it to not wiggle, though I had it pretty secure, just wanted it THAT MUCH MORE secure. Super easy match straps, super easy strap pass through, though I do recommend lifting the padding up to see the path as you buckle so straps don’t get twisted. *****Comfortable, my baby liked to be up a bit higher than her infant seat *****Straps are easy to adjust ***Cup holders are innovative, my little one isn’t big enough to have her own cup without making a mess yet but I do like the option of the cup holder on either side and being able to tuck them in when not in use *****Looks nice, crisp, clean Dislikes: -The regular seat belt was oddly placed after buckling the seat down securely. (Refer to pictures) It was either stretched so my baby could grab it on the side of the seat or I have to carefully tuck it under the cup holder to keep it out of her way and flat against the seat. -The back padding is nice but the bottom panel on the adjustable back pad is very stiff. (see photos for next detail) If the seat back is not FULLY down then padding is not flat under the bum. If you raise the back to the highest position the padding is fully lifted and is flat against the back. Anywhere in between and the stiff bottom panel is diagonally resting causing a slight incline/slant pad behind baby’s back and under bum. Looks like it would cause discomfort but so far baby doesn’t seem to care. -Still big for my little car. Luckily I’m short so my seat has to be pushed pretty far forward leaving plenty of room for this seat when rear facing. My husband cannot drive my car with this seat. He is unable to move the seat back far enough to accommodate his legs. -Using with another seat behind the front passenger seat leaves no room for other riders on the back seat. This is more the vehicle problem than the seat though. Haven’t had any major travels in the seat but so far she seems comfy and doesn’t seem to mind I switched her to a new seat.
