Headgear for Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, and MMA

This headgear is better then any others I have used. I have used it for about 1 year now so the logo is gone and the fabric shows very slight signs of wear but for me to have been using it 2-3 days a week for BJJ sessions it has held up incredibly well. It stays snug on your face and doesn’t choke you to death. My only complaint is the headgear can get hot but all in all no cauliflower ear and It doesn’t shift around when rolling so 5 out of 5 for me. Oh also very important, It doesn’t cause your training partners discomfort during rolling which is big for headgear. Picked this up for jiu jitsu while I had some ear issues. The headgear was easy to adjust to fit my head. I could hear but sounds were muffled which is to be expected. I didn’t have any issues with headgear wanting to come off my head even when opponent was trying a guillotine choke. My only small complaint is the chin strap if someone got their arm around my neck just right it would dig the buckle in for some discomfort but being choked isn’t exactly comforting. That is why I say small complaint. Protected my ears like it should.

I purchased this product after I had injured my ear in Jiu Jitsu. Afterwards, I have worn the head gear regularly and have been hit over the ear several times. The head gear totally protected my ear from new injuries, did not feel the impact. I found the head gear somewhat comfortable to wear, and it stays on my head, easy to adjust for the right size. I have washed it once in the washing machine and left it out to air dry, no issues. I started using the free mouth piece that came with the head gear, works great! Saved my teeth a couple of times, but my jaw hurts. All good. This is the only head gear that I have purchased, I can't compare to other's. I'm satisfied with this product, for the price.

a few stitching faults that are slowly coming undone around the headgear. Dad to re-stitch the "buckle" because it almost ripped off adjusting the fit. Chin strap is pretty short for people with slightly bigger than average heads. Besides that the head gear works as intended, no issues with ear soreness and stays on my head during intense rolls. Don't recommend for people outside of US due to limitations on support.

I bought this headgear specifically because of the strap around the top of the head, and the softer material by the ears for my 8 year old wrestler. It stays put really nicely and my son says it is very comfortable. My only complaint is I wish it could adjust for a smaller head size. My son's head seems to be too big for the options for youth headgear and too small for the adult size headgear. But I think next year it will fit better, and then it will be perfect! Overall happy with this purchase.

Bad quality material and stitching. Chin strapped ripped off with no effort while trying it on for the first time right out of the bag. Not one roll was seen by this headgear. Will stick to old school headgear from now on

I purchased this headgear months ago when I had a small cauliflower ear. I wore it for a few weeks and my cauliflower ear was gone. When I wore it during rolls, I heard no complaints from my training partners. I will say, though, that parts of the chin strap, except for the velcro, do come off if you wash it, whether it's in the laundry machine or you hand wash it, so do be cognizant of that. Overall, great headgear for BJJ!

The price was worth it. The headgear for jujiitsu and Grappling works perfect for my son. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this guard cos from bjj I started to develop cauliflower ear. It caused so much pain that it was disturbing my trainings, so I decided to try out this guard. For me it works perfectly both for drills and rolls. Although, it does restrict hearing a bit, so you need to move closer to your trainer to hear him/her. I am bold so it fits perfectly tight and it didn’t shift during rolling. The one thing I would recommend though, is to set it up before training, because for me it took a bit of fiddling to find the perfect setting. Overall, I did recommended this to the lads in the club and I am 100% recommending it to everyone for BJJ. I would buy it again without hesitation.

It’s comfortable but not as tight as a fit as it looks from the video tutorial for my head. Either way I was able to roll with it and thankfully, I am able to prevent my cauliflower ear from getting any worse. Definitely recommend, worth the money.
