I purchased the claw about six months ago, since then sold it to a relative and it has been in use every since. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to deter a thief. The features of it are wonderful, and heck it's cheaper now than what I paid for it a few months back by ten dollars. At any rate, well worth the money.More about the item. Sturdy. Rugged. Durable. Reliable. It comes with three keys, wonderful since they cannot be duplicated. A small cover over the lock to ensure moisture doesn't ruin the mechanisms. Prominent enough to be easily recognized.A little known fact about cars, or perhaps not thought about. If you have a FWD car, place the device on the front wheel since this is where your drive axle is and thief would not only have to remove the tire claw from the vehicle, but also hot wire the car or burst the steering column in order to steal the vehicle. The opposite is true for a RWD vehicle. An AWD drive vehicle either/or, is just as grand.Side note/freebie: The repossession man, most likely with a creeper on his/her truck, can't tow a front-wheel drive vehicle from the back since it will strip the transmission. A rear-wheel drive vehicle (most trucks) cannot be towed from the front. It takes too long to place it on a flatbed, and defeats the purpose of the speedy recovery. Someone may say, well they may have dolly wheels. Correct. But you can't speed down the freeway with those on a car.Note: There are two different sizes for the tire claw. Be sure to order the correct one. The one (XL) or 491 model fits around most car tires and probably some truck tires. You can check the specifications on another site to verify. The 493 model is designed for smaller tires, such as motorcycles and dirt bikes. This was not the correct size for my trailer application, so I have returned it and ordered the next larger size. I was impressed with the keys, locking mechanism, stoutness and simplicity, so I didn't see any reason to try a different brand. Had I not been impressed, I would have returned The Claw and tried a different brand and design. My only criticism is that I am disappointed by the lack of clearly defined dimension information in the product description. If the description had been more clear, I would have selected the larger size the first time. Even some of the customer reviews regarding dimensions and applications were misleading. For the record, my trailer tires are ST205/75/D15. The Club 493 Claw almost fit, so if you have a similar size, get The Club 491 Claw.

This is big enough to go around large tires on our off road camper trailer. It can be removed with one hand in just seconds. Putting it on is also super easy and fast.

A very good wheel lock that also serves as a wheel chock. This is a heavy wheel lock and seems very heavy duty the only issue with it I have seen is that my husband put it on the back of the tire instead of the front. The way he has it on there a person could drive the trailer forward and potentially get enough momentum to keep driving even with it on there though it would be quite the bumpy ride. I think the claw would hang on for quite a while as it seems like a tough product. I hope it never gets tested but we enjoy the piece of mind having it on our boat.

I would have given this five stars if it covered the wheel nuts. This works perfectly on my ATV and gives me extra comfort while leaving the ATV out on my acreage when I'm not there. It opens quite wide which allows it to fit around fatter tires, then closes down to a pinch if need be (as in the photo). I'm no locksmith but I don't think the lock or key to open The Club could be duplicated since it's a bunch of various depth holes... pretty clever. All in all I'd recommend this unit over a cable lock but I DO have a cable locking this device to the frame of the ATV for additional security.

Excellent security device. The fastest and quickest way to set up security for your bike, even if its a quick run into the grocery store. It makes an excellent visual deterrant, so I feel safer with the lock on. I usually use the lock because the other locks are heavy or it requires me to loop it through parts of my bike that are very hot and can burn me.bike : KLR 650 Kawasakiupdate : Was talking to a friend while getting on the bike, forgot I had the claw on. Needless to say, didnt get very far. Had to get a locksmith to cut off for $$. The device worked but I won't be using it anymore.

I have a larger vehicle with 35 inch tires and this wirks great. Its a tight fit but it isnt coming off. Steering wheel locks are easily cut off so this was a great purchase

Bought both a steering wheel Club and this one for the tire. Very visible. Thieves want to take vehicles quickly so decided to buy two deterrents. Very easy and quick to put onto your tire and take it off. Glad I bought this product.

Can be deployed in 1-2 seconds without any effort, which is why I bought it. The materials are higher gauge than I thought/expected. I rate a 4 of 5 because there isn't a lug nut protector plate included and the cost to buy that separate seems disproportionate to the price of the tire claw itself.
