Great for ultra sensitive skin like mine
Great for ultra sensitive combination skin like mine. It was easy to wash off after waiting about 10 minutes, and I could feel my pores and see them tighter. At first I was hesitant to use it because I have had issues in the past trying new products that really irritate my skin but I did a patch test first and then I used it on my whole face and I’m very pleased.

Great Product! Satisfied Consumer; Glad I purchased
I really like this as a spot treatment & for the t-zone. It works well & shrinks any breakout bump. Skin feels clean w/o feeling stripped or over exfoliated. I have very sensitive combination skin. I use Retinoid/Retina & AHA/BHA products and there was no adverse interaction with using one after the other or vs. versa with my skin & again I have pretty sensitive skin. I am not really sure of the blue beads in this; some dissolve but most just stay a hard. I suspect the bead is the copper & vitamin E ingredients in the mask, so it would be nice for the beads to dissolve more readily to get that benefit (although not sure of the type of Vit e & copper used, so it may be a good thing they don’t desolve 😉🙃). The mask itself is really great overall; especially for the t-zone area or as a spot treatment w/o stripping or over-drying (aka doesn’t seem to damage the skin barrier while the sulfur goes to work). Smell is very subtle sulfur but nothing which would impede me from using this mask as a regular adjunct product in my skin routine (as far as a mask or spot treatment, used as needed dependent on the state of my skin). Plus less fragrance to try to hide the sulfur in my opinion, the better; fragrances are notorious skin irritates which we often overlook as such. The tube is small but don’t let that deter you from getting this little gem of a product; it’s cost is low per ounce overall (in comparison to some similar products) & this tube actually lasts (with the way I use it) a decent amount of time.

Works well
It’s a great dupe for a cream that’s like $100

Very difficult to break blue beads with sulfur
I have been struggling with acne for most of my life. Some pimples are so deep in the layers of my skin, they clear with a couple months' time or sometimes even longer. Since I started using this face mask, these kind of subterranean monsters haven't happened. I have very oily skin also and this mask does cut back the oiliness of my skin if I use it every 3 days.A couple things to note:a) it smells strongly of sulphur even after washing my face off, for a good 12 hrs. I recommend using it it the evening so you don't have to smell it on yourself all day.b) the blue beads that contain the active ingredient have to be worked hard to break them apart. I sometimes spend a good 5 mins massaging them.Update:The more I use this product the more I dislike it. The beads with the sulfur ingredient are almost near impossible to break. While I massage the mask in my palm with a few drops of water, they just run between my fingers. The same thing happens while I massage the mask onto my face. So this in a sense is useless as a sulphur mask, instead it's just a kaolin mask.Quite expensive for 50ml of product for a kaolin type mask.

Effective Pore-Clearing Mask That Really Works!
The AcneFree Acne Clearing Mask works great at unclogging pores — you can actually see it pulling out oil and gunk! I mainly use it on my nose to keep stubborn whiteheads away, and it’s been super effective. It has no bad odor, applies smoothly, and is really easy to use. Definitely a go-to for targeting oily areas and keeping pores clear!

It does turn blue!
Edit: This review only applies to the old formula of this product. The new formula I just received does not turn blue at all. This listing makes it sound like the mask turns blue on its own after it sits on your skin for a while - this is not the case. The comments make it sounds like the mask doesn't turn blue at all - this is also not the case. The mask turns blue (and needs to turn blue to be fully activated), but you must follow the right steps. The instructions on the package have you apply the mask to wet skin (important) and massage it until the mask turns blue. You then leave the blue mask on for 10 minutes before washing it off. What happens is that there are little blue beads in the mask. The water on your skin of pressure of massaging crushes/dissolves these little blue beads and mixes them with white portion of the mask to turn it a light sky blue. Sometimes you need to find and intentionally crush the little blue beads with your fingers. Mixing the blue beads into the white portion of the mask activates the ingredients - the mask is not as effective if it is not fully activated. It is a small bottle and the mask is a thick consistency. However, applying it to a wet face does make the amount go further than you'd think. With that PSA out of the way I'd like to say that this mask has been a game changer for my skin. I'm currently using it daily on my whole face and I'm seeing real improvement in my severe acne. I may be able to use it less often to maintain once my skin is clear.
