Still learning so ...

Some good, basic information. Lots of stories, and some pages on other instruments, which takes away from the reason I bought this item in the first place...for instruction and use...which was a small part of the book.

It took a while for me to find out how to get a pleasing tone with the hard side of the mallet without hitting it, but I guess it’s more about the journey than the destination. My only fault that I can find, and maybe it’s just me, is that the velvet side of the mallet seems near impossible to get any real sound.

I use this at our local VA hospital to honor our hospice patients on their last patrol

I only skimmed this book then passed it on to someone more interested in it.

This is a really necessary book for those interested in singing bowls.
