Flying cleats?
I used these recently. The sizing in my major problem. The manufacturer doesn't really give you a good size guide. A large is a bit too small for a size uk 10 hiking boot but still just fits. They work well. Time will tell how sturdy they are but after one trip they didn't fail and provided grip in snow and ice, frozen mud. I launched a paraglider wearing them.

Very useful and good design but arrived incorrectly assembled
When these arrived I tested them on my hiking boots and immediately noticed that a chain side-link did not sit properly, as it had a twist round the back-to-front chain. This created a small lump underfoot and the extra tension to the rubber attachment point would have undoubtedly led to premature failure. I was able to use pliers to open one of the side attachment links and untwist the chain, and so far this has held together ok.I have since used these for several winter hill walks and found them to be extremely effective on snow and ice including on moderate gradients - I am wishing I had got a pair of these long before. They are a bit uncomfortable when walking for long periods on hard ice, but that is to be expected. The characteristic of this design is that they won't have good grip on hard surfaces like tarmac, so I wouldn't recommend them for urban areas.

Good on ice and packed snow
Good to use on town streets and parks when there are layers of ice and thin snow. The points haven't been blunted (yet) by the areas not covered in snow/ice. Compared to conventional crampons, they're much quicker to get on and off (though you still need to sit down), and they can be worn over shoes, not just boots. Best to practice putting them on while inside - it's a bit odd at first. They don't clear packed snow from underneath, so I don't imagine they've be good in deeper snow.

Good value & tough. Do the job well
I originally thought that these would never fit and considered a return. However like a true bloke, didn't read the instructions. Quite simple web you know how!Good value for money and used in anger in very deep snow with a helpful of ice.For reference I use Altberg Tethera boots in a size 10.5 and chose the large option.

Game Changer
Just did our first hill climb in these and they performed amazingly well. We opted for the unigear over the more expensive Kahtoolas after seeing such positive reviews. The conditions up our local hills have been really icy with an inch or two of snow on top. As you can see from the trail in the pic, I had no problems going down where as everyone else had opted for the rougher ground to the side.Gave me so much confidence under foot. So far, no breakages or bending of the spikes. For the hills we are climbing they are perfect. I can’t comment on more advanced climbing conditions as we tend to stick to more established trails but for this purpose they are amazing!
