Glad i took a chance on this.
I pulled the trigger on this one. Hate buying an item without reviews. Saw this online and had to see if it was real for this price range and glad I did. First what I liked, I like the fact it has Sony cmos. Liked the 2mp and that it wasn't UHD 4mp. Liked that it zooms 10x optically. Liked the pan (that's go left and right) and tilt (up and down). Liked the 80 meter rated ir. All motorized and can control from both phone and nvr. Does require you to have network skilles. Nothing major but you should understand these terms, ip address, sub net mask, and default gateways. If not see if you have a friend that does. Hooked this up to my GW security nvr and the PTZ controls worked great. Picture detail daytime made me very happy. Nighttime the same, looks as good as my 4mp cameras. Nighttime is better than the 4mp, because it easier to gather light on only 2mp. Tilt and pan and zoom speeds better than I expected in this price range. The general consensus on my street is, this is awesome. I live on a small culdasac, 5 homes only, and my cameras cover the whole street. I have great neighbors and they all have the software and log in credentials for my cameras. This way if a neighbor hears something in the street, they also can check, and a few times this year I have been awakened by a neighbor saying he heard a vehicle in the early am and checked. Sure enough these were all criminal element and up to no good. This camera, if you want a camera that can look around and zoom, buy this. Just make sure you or a good friend have some network knowledge. By the way, my default password was 12345. Caution *** I ordered assuming this camera was poe, and the no poe meant, no injector supplied. I means this camera will not power over eithernet, you must run a seperate DC power cable. They do have a poe model for ten dollars more. That model works great with standard poe, no poe+ required.

A great IP camera
This is a great IP camera. It was east to install and easy to set up and it works well. I have installed this at the rear of my property and you can see the minimum and maximum zoom capabilities in the two included images.Care needs to be taken when buying this camera as there are three similar models. I opted for the cheapest of the tree which has no audio and no POE (Power Over Ethernet).

DON'T BUY
This is an ethernet connected camera with a separate power feed. It does not come with a power supply. So far, no problem. There is a totally useless manual on a small CDROM, and some software. You are truely on your own. But again, I've installed these and other network connected devices so I'm used to a certain level of frustration...I absolutely could not get this unit to connect to my existing network. Also, the wonderful, BlueIris software does not appear to recognize this, although the network problems may be an issue. It comes with a fixed IP address: 192.168.0.99. If I changed my computer over to this address (192.168.0.XXX), I could connect and get into the crappy firmware which looks quite amateurish BTW. I tried setting it to DHCP so it would take an address from my router. It seemed to take the command,-rebooted and everything...BUT it Absolutely would not. I tried giving it a fixed IP address within the range of my network, again no luck. I tried different browsers including the dreaded Internet Explorer, again no luck. No reset button or any mention of this so the system could be reset to factory defaults. The lack of manual or any setup instructions whatsoever is not encouraging. There are similar cameras out there, I just bought the wrong one.
