It’s mostly a single unit. There aren’t “parts.” So I don’t understand your question, other than I assume Amazon will sell however many they have?

Would this support a textbook, or would it topple over?

Mine arrived too broken to repair. I returned it. Personally, I’d be hesitant with putting anything in a bathtub tray if it (textbook, tablet, phone…) falling into the water were to cause me grief.

Comes with 1 square of non-slip silicone. Do we cut in 1/2? Or, was I supposed to get 2?

The included 3M non-slip mat can be divided into 4 pieces, Affixed to the appropriate position on the bottom of the bathtub tray
