OtterBox Symmetry Series Hybrid Case for Samsung Galaxy J7 and J7 V - Black

Phone fell out of my pocket (without my knowledge), and what happened next I am speculating. Someone found my phone by the road and called my mom to return it. I was in a school parking lot but they said they found it by the road, so I'm thinking it fell and landed on the running board. It must have flown off the running board when I turned the corner, slid on the asphalt and that's where someone found it. Phone case is BEAT UP, but phone still works! I continued to use the case and I'm just now replacing it (4 months later). I highly recommend this case.

It took me a while to review this product because I wasn't willing to openly abuse the phone the way that I did with the Defender. I didn't have the confidence in this model that I did with the Defender that had on my S3. With the Defender I was a walking, talking infomercial for Otterbox products, openly dropping the phone on hard surfaces, throwing it across the room to prove how tough it was. Especially to my sister-in-law who has easily cracked a half-dozen screens;-) Well, I forgot the old S3 along with my trusty Otterbox Defender on the roof of my wife's car, and let's just say that I now have a Samsung Galaxy SkyPro J7. I found out pretty quickly that Otterbox doesn't make a Defender for the new model of phone, and I was left with this one. The reviews that I read on the Symmetry, and how it was designed and constructed didn't inspire as much confidence and I suddenly stopped demonstrating how tough Otterbox's products were. It finally happened, I dropped the phone down on to the pavement from a height of 4.5 to 5', and it hit vertical and right on the corner of the case. I picked it, hit the prompt button, and all was well! And I did the exact same thing a couple days later, it passed the test, A+, give it 5 stars. Some have a made a big deal about this case not having a screen protector, but let me say this, a tempered glass screen protector is way better than the cheesy piece of plastic that comes on the Defender. After 2.5 years of use, the plastic screen protector was scratched, gouged, and pretty beat up looking. You could see through just fine, but turn it, and the damage was really noticeable. Tempered glass gets beat up, just replace it and move along smartly, you can't do that with the Defender. This case is way better ergonomically than is a Defender, not nearly as big and clunky, not sure if it's as tough, but that and the tempered glass screen cover make this a tough combination to beat.

I've had this case for about 5 months, and it's holding up quite well. I've dropped my phone in the asphalt parking lot at work twice with no damage to my phone. The light pink color did get a little mussed, but nothing majority noticeable. I've used a popsocket on the case for about a month, and it stayed on fine (I was a little worried about their compatibility). IPhone cases are so easy to find, but many of the cases for Samsung phones are chinsier. This is definitely worth it.

Good quality and tough case. Only issue is the buttons are harder to press to activate on/off, volume, etc.

Love the case

I still gave this a 5 star rating as it is excellent quality, lightweight, very durable, and fast shipping. Appears it will protect your phone from breakage with out having to have the complete snap in type case that is way more expensive. I am disappointed however that this case will NOT fit the straighttalk 2018 j7 crown. The place for the camera and flash is different. Therefore do not purchase for Samsung Galaxy j7 crown. Other than that this is an excellent protective at a cheap price that is affordable.

These cases aren't going to win any awards for being stylish but that's cool! Usually looking good and great protection don't go together anyway. Got this case for a Samsung Galaxy Halo and it fits perfectly. It's a one piece case that's easy to slip on and off of the phone. It's currently being used with a tempered glass protector and it hasn't interfered or caused the protector to shift. This case is a bit thick so if you want something that doesn't add a little bulk, you probably want to look at something different. This case seems well made with enough cushion to keep your phone protected. Already had one mishap while tossing the phone on to the bed where it bounced off and landed on the wood floor. Both phone and case were good.

The product description is misleading. It says this case fits the Samsung Galaxy J3, but it does not fit my Galaxy J3 Prime, model SM-J327T1. I verified the exact model number in my phone settings, and the pink OtterBox case is way too large for the phone. The phone moves around inside the case and clearly does not match the dimensions. Buyers with a Galaxy J3 Prime SM-J327T1 should be aware that this case is not compatible, despite what the listing suggests.

La funda le cabe al samsung j7 prime, es original y protege muy bien de los golpes. Cubre las orillas del celular perfectamente.

It fitted perfectly my phone. Easy to install and though enough to protect my phone. Great service. Thanks!

Buena calidad y muy fuerte.

Right fit for the phone. Excellent product

En la descripción dice que le queda al J3 y la verdad es que no le queda. Desafortunadamente tarde mucho en abrir mi paquete y darme cue ta de eso. No lo recomiendo para ese celular
