Boye 29-Inch Aluminum Circular Knitting Needles, Size 10

I've been knitting for sixty years and have always relied on boys needles. Who needs those super expensive needles, boys has been around a long time and the needles last most of mine are sixty years old and still going strong g.

The coiling and twisting of these circular needles take the joy out of knitting. I have tried placing heavy weights on them for long periods of time but to no avail. I would not recommend this product. If you are a serious knitter it is well worth paying more money for a higher quality product. Boyle....I would love to support your products but will not do so until the problem as stated above is corrected.

The metal join where it meets the plastic does not curve into the join. This will ruin yarn as I knit, whether acrylic or natural. Completely unacceptable. Either these are defective, or Boye sold their business to nefarious manufacturers. Returning.

Do not buy this!! This was made very poorly! The yarn kept getting stuck on it and after my piece was around 6 inches long, it felt apart! I was very disappointed because I've never had trouble with this brand name before.I will never buy anything by this company again!

I am totally disappointed in the needles that I received in mid December 2013.. I am waiting for replacements now of other brands. I have a lot of all sized and types of Boye needles and usually have no problem with them.. but this set is nothing but trouble. The paint or coating on the needles started scratching off immediately and left metalic black stain on my knitting and my fingers very soon after I started my blanket and the connection point is so jagged it catches the yarn and snags it .. my hands are painful from the battle so I have to put it aside and hope the new needles I've ordered (3 different brands) are better.. I don't know what is happening with old brands that are usually dependable. I have gotten a notice today that my order of one of the other brands is now unavailable.. so hopefully the other 2 will be as good as they should be. I have probably learned a lesson that cheap cost is often not worth the trouble and from now on I will check the reviews and take the advice of the few previous buyers who found the product faulty.

I usually use Addi Turbos, but didn't want to invest that much for a size 13.Yes, the cable is stiff and curled when needles are removed from the packaging, but, they can be easily straightened by placing the cable in boiling water for a few seconds, and then stretching them out to remove all the kinks!

Your basic circular knitting needles. Sturdy. A bit pricey but a quality needle

Terrible product - needles are very slippery and where the needles join the cord is so rough that the yarn catches constantly.

As all boys needles the size American 6 becomes a 4.25mm which is exactly what I needed I should mention that the colour scratches off at the points when you knit
