I'm halfway thru the book now and it's a great language learning tool if you stick with it. (Speaking from experience - fluent in Spanish and Chinese and have also studied French, Japanese and Italian for multiple years.) Found two or three grammar errors but nothing to worry about. Highly recommended for anyone trying to self-study Portuguese using a book similar to what you'd have in a classroom setting.

She really breaks down Brazilian Portuguese to the point where you can't help but learn. Amazing book, really helped me hold basic conversation in Brazil and I had only finished halfway before my trip! Already purchased the second book
