I want to do clear castings.** A: No, you do not need to use anything other than resin. Chameleon powder is only required if you want it to look like that. You can make molds look however you choose for them to look. So if you want clear, don't use any colorants in your resin and pour straight into the mold. I also will say do small layers in this mold at a time such as no more than 30-40 ml of resin at a time to avoid flash curing. Do not pour more than 40 ml at a time. **Q: Can this handle 250° f melted sugar?** A: It seems very sturdy so I would think so, I haven't personally tried though. **Q: Is this oven safe for melting 3d printer filament scraps?** A: No, I absolutely do not recommend with these type molds. They are best with UV resin or regular resin.
