I originally got one of these to use during flights, along with a (Cabeau Evolution S3) travel pillow, and (especially together) both are *fantastic!* I was eventually separated from the sleep mask, and when I went to replace it, at first I made the mistake of buying a different brand. It was highly rated and supposedly "ergonomic," but... well, picture the same sort of shape as "over-the-ear" headphones, but over your eyes -- presumably really handy if your eyes happen to be protruding out of their sockets, but since I doubt I'd get much sleep in that case anyway, they only struck me as odd, and needlessly created pressure points all around my eyes. Anyway! Point is...I then ordered another one of these, and the difference is like night and day: these are super soft and comfortable, perfectly adjustable to fit exactly right, to the point that you might forget you were wearing them if they didn't so thoroughly & effectively block out all light! On a bright and sunny day at the beach, wearing these you would see nothing but pitch black. (And even better than forgetting you're wearing them, I've found myself wishing I could somehow wear mine while watching TV 😁)

THE BEST SLEEPING MASK EVER. I have slept with a sleeping mask for years growing up, but once I started getting lash extensions a few years ago, I couldn't find one that didn't pull and press on them all night! THIS MASK IS AMAZING. It is so comfortable and fits to your face perfectly. I can completely open my eyes when it is on my face, as the parts that cover the eye are contoured so that they don't put any pressure on your eyes, but it is COMPLETELY pitch black. Not a shred of light gets in! It is soft, and comfortable, like wearing a cloud mask on your face! I already bought two more of these because I'm afraid of losing it, or forgetting it while traveling! I will be buying one for my husband as well!

I gave it a few weeks of sleep before this review and I have to say, I'm super disappointed. I am an avid eye mask wearer and this is definitely THE worst mask I have used. The material is soft and seems like it would be great but it's really thick and heavy. You can feel the strap when you lie on your back, the velcro is bulky.. overall, horrible. The worst part though is the nose bridge. There is a weird tubing that "shapes to your face" but it actually presses into your under eyes and smashes your nose. I really, really wanted to like this mask but it sucks. Don't waste your money. (also, I know I seem like a crazy amazon reviewer writing about an eye mask, but I value my sleep and this just gets in the way. trying to save you from the worst sleep you'll have)

4.5 out of 5 stars. Night shift worker. Blocks the light well, once you tweek it for a custom fit. I am 5'2", 112 lbs and have a low bridge and higher cheek bones. Tweeking can be a little frustrating at first but black out can be achieved. Once you get that custom fit, don't mess w/ it further. Also, if you roll over it in your sleep you might have to reconfigure it again.If you are a back sleeper and don't toss much in your sleep, there is no need to secure it behind your head. It is howver, somewhat hot when secured. Would have rated it as a 5 if not for the tweeking and product being a bit pricey. That said you can get the results you're attempting to achieve. Best eyemask Ive tried. I like that it has an adjustable bridge on the nose, this is critical for any eyemask to obtain total blackout, if you don’t have this then you are hoping to get lucky that it will fit your nose bridge right and achieve total blackout. One other thing important to me, is that it doesn’t hit my eyes or eyelashes while It’s on because is very uncomfortable. The other thing os that the velcro is better than the elastic bands, I didn’t use to think so, but now I’m a believer because with the velcro you put the right amount of pressure on your head. With elastic bands this is harder to achieve. Call me picky but I’m trying to sleep with this on, and I’ve found this is the most comfortable one.

It took me a while to get used to this sleep mask but I kept it and getting used to it. The nose goes down too far for me and you have to get it just right for all of the light not to sneak up underneath the eye. I would not purchase this type again. KIM

great travel mask!! i've tried a couple others but this is the best i've used. maybe slightly bulky if you use them in a bed and you're a stomach/side sleeper but for travel purposes they are perfect. very cozy, very dark. i can't say the flexible nose piece made a huge difference but it was helpful and never bothered me. really like the wider velcro strap than typical elastic. the little earplug storage thing is awesome (also closes with velcro). all this and doesn't look like i'm wearing a bra on my face:)

This eye mask blocks out light very well, and was super comfortable. Keyword was. It would have gotten higher ratings, but after using it every night for two months the Velcro is already ruined and the hooks look as though they have all broken off. This renders the eye mask useless. Not worth the price for two months worth of use.
