The one side that I wanted to use more frequently (the side that made larger shreds) unfortunately broke the second time I used it...one of the little circle pieces just pulled right out. I may try to save it with some epoxy, but a bit of a pain to do that. The other sides have not broken yet, there are multiple duplicates of this fine shredder. Best used on green or young coconuts.

The media could not be loaded. These tools are really helpful for removing the meat from young coconuts ("Thai coconuts") & undoubtedly from the older brown ones too. The tools with loops on the end help to remove young coconut meat as long strands, useful for making young coconut "noodles." Even if you don't care about making long strands, these tools are so handy just for removing the meat. The kit comes in a lovely handmade-looking cloth bag-- an extra bonus! When faced with the task of coconut meat removal, it helps to have several tools, so this collection is appreciated.

Love this thing! Works greats and comes as advertised. I was able to scrape the coconut flesh in the same way as the vendors did in Thailand. The tools came inside the cutest handbag and were wrapped in bubble wrap. Tools were sharp and looked handmade. Some of the wood could have been sanded down better and there was a nail that was sticking through the wood, but nothing a little hamering couldn't fix. I couldn't have been happier with my purchase and would definitely buy again. This set was the best bang for the buck in my opinion.

I bought this one a few years back. It works for one side, the other side was pulled out almost right at the first try. I am now looking for a better one. Don't recommend this at all

This was more than expected. Nice little bag to hold all the tools , four different ones, a nice letter and postcard from the company.

This product is a scam. I tried to shred the coconut and the metal parts fell out. I think the wood material is too weak and can’t hold the metal pieces. I do not recommend this product.
