Kapaxen BN-VG138U Data Rechargeable Battery for Select JVC Everio Camcorders

I use this with a JVC GZ-EX310 camera. It runs the camera a really long time but I haven't timed it to see if it really meets its specification. I love the battery, I've had it about a month, and I'm glad I bought it.Unfortunately no battery will run the camera for 24 hours or for long enough to fill the largest memory cards (currently 128 GB). And the real problem isn't with the battery but with the charger. I have yet to find a charger that will fill the battery in less than about 6 hours.

I have a low-end Everio Camcorder (GZ-E10). OEM battery lasts about 50 minutes. The battery status indicator in the camcorder says this VG-138U will last 350 minutes! I used it for about 30 minutes (with lots of zoom), and it showed 310 minutes left on the indicator. I have not tried to see how long it will last, but I am pleased so far. Only negative is that the battery is a little heavier compared to the OEM battery, but the balance is still ok when handheld. I bought the Kapaxen charger with this battery because I didn't know if my JVC OEM wall charger would work. I tried the OEM wall charger and it seemed to work fine when recharging.

i haven't used the battery much since i purchased it.......but i've purchased lots of batteries in my video experience. i could not believe the capacity when i was looking to buy my next battery....and the price! i previously bought a kapaxen battery that had a wire that connected directly to the dc input of my jvc. that was good also....but i made the STUPID mistake of plugging in the wire to the input on the kapaxen charger and IT FRIED THE BATTERY....good thing i was home to smell the melt down. i was glad to see the new battery has more capacity, doesn't have a separate wire and shows the amount of battery charge in the video cameras screen...after i use it a lot i'll write another review. i think reviews are important when purchasing something.

Getting a long lasting battery is the right solution to a problem that JVC should have addressedhad they chosen the right battery to begin with...instead creating a customer satisfaction issue.Love the JVC video camcorder and this new battery. I have long shoots, shooting concert performancesthat last 3 hours at a stretch with lots of zooming and panning. I have purchased this brand with my PanasonicLumix DMC-FZ200 camera and love it.

Upon receiving my battery for my JVC Everio, I had no problem charging it. A week later, I did a video of a my son's band, which involved zooming in & out frequently. Started at 7:30 PM, Was done at 11:30 PM. With in that time, there was a total of a half hour that I stopped the camera. No sign of the battery running low. Very pleased with the performance of the battery, I have only used it the one time and have nothing to compare it with. But I am confident that I have a dependable battery that will get me through 5 hours of recording and I'm ready for the next gig.

Item as described. Used this battery for many hours without recharging and it was not dead when I stopped recording.

I have a small Talk show Call The LDM Show and we film a lot. This Battery last us about 4 to 5 hrs of filming with not issue. Lots of Zooming in and out but seem not to have a issue.

Good battery. Runs the camcorder for a long time.
