This product is the ultimate in recycling. If I am right, these cloths are cast offs from various clothing manufacturing, primarily t-shirts. The box contained various material thickness, sizes and texture. All were in excellent shape; and will be extremely useful in and around one's house.

...but they aren't lint-free. I received this box yesterday, and it was apparently not lint-free when I pulled the first rag out and lint came flying out from the bundle. It was more apparent after using them to dry drinking glasses.The reusable factor is questionable also. A couple of rags didn't even make it through a rinsing in a sink. The distribution of types of rags seems random, so hopefully someone else will get sturdier rags.The cloths definitely don't look like the image. They are random sizes and shapes, some only good for drying one or two glasses. They seemed to be mostly cut/shredded parts of t-shirts and thermal underwear.All-in-all, they are rags and they work for most things. I can't say I'm disappointed, but I can't say I'm entirely pleased either. I feel like I could have gotten a collection of rags and towels like that cheaper from a local thrift store. But, like I said they're still rags. Just don't expect to reuse all of them and don't expect lint-free cleaning from them either.

These are the best value for the wood shop you are going to find. I have been a wood worker for nine years and have gone through a lot of staining, oiling, finishing and even some dying of wood. These are what you use. The cost means you always reach for a new cloth and only tear them in smaller pieces to save finish. Yes, they have a little lint and are not uniform in size. But you can only say this for the most expensive of rags and I disagree if you tell me it makes a difference. Lowe's and Homedepot quit carying boxes like this in KC so amazon is the best place to buy cloths. By the way, amazon is also the cheapest for for foam brushes, glue brushes and tung oil.

I purchased this through the "Big Desk Drawer" amazon seller for $18.29. I would not say this purchase was worth it. It is actually 4.5lbs of cloth, not 5lbs. The 5lb weight comes from adding in the weight of the cardboard box it is in. This is misleading and disappointing. I recommend getting 8 t-shirts and cutting them up yourself. 8 tshirts would probably cost you 3x less than this product.In the package I received 4 grey pieces, one off grey, 2 marble tshirt fabrics, 4 pieces thick jersey with some black marks on them, 2 off yellow thick cotton pieces, 2 thin off yellow pieces, 2 white cotton pieces, 3 mens undershirt type fabric pieces, 2 pieces of stretchy jersey, 3 white rayon t shirt fabric with marks, 2 rough pieces with stains, 4 nice pieces of tshirt cotton with stretch, 6 pieces of a different kind of cotton, 3 pieces of a soft jersey, 2 pieces of tshirt white fabric of a misc type, and one rough piece of cotton. (total of 41 pieces with a range)

This box of rags are great! I haven't the foggiest idea how many rags are actually in the box (I still have to tug at any one that I pull out. They are good for cleaning glasses, wiping sweat and about anything else one can think of. They don't seem to leave behind any residue on my glasses. What's really great is that they can be washed and used again.

This was exactly what I wanted. I was expecting them to be uniform, hemmed seam towels. They are actually scraps of cloth from factory made t-shirts, undershirts, and thermals. Some were big. Some were small. None of them were square or in a set shape or size. Since I use them for cleaning cloths and not for fine entertaining, they are perfect for their purpose. Although I would have benefitted from them being closer in shape and save time not having to cut them to size myself, I like them and they are useful cleaning rags.

There are many different sizes of wiping clothes in a box, they are great for whatever I paid for them...Was extremely happy whenever lint never showed up on anything they were used for.

NO, these are not all white. They are mixed colors.
