This replaces a Home Depot sink stopper that did not perform well after a few years. This product avoids all of the issues the more expensive HD product, and was much easier to install. First, this product has a simple, removable stopper with a catcher. The HD one was non removable, got clogged, and couldn't be fixed. This has none of those issues. Second, the product has rubber gaskets and a simple large nut that screws on to be water tight. The HD one kept leaking water and was a bear to get it into position. This product was 10X easier to install and had no leakages. This product is also stainless steel tubing, with brass pieces in the catcher. Time will tell if there's rust, but probably not an issue. Finally, the only difference between this and other sink stoppers I've installed from HD, is that this one doesn't have an extension on the bottom to make it taller. It wasn't a big deal, since I had spare plastic tubing lying around I could cut (from HD products, years ago) to extend the compression fitting under the sink. The whole install process took ~30 minutes, including removal, cutting, and fitting. Had another person to help out in the install, though you could probably get by yourself due to the simplicity of the screwing nut holding everything into place. Overall, a great product. I'll buy another now, just in case I need a replacement in one of my other faucets. Highly recommended based on the install and water-proof result.

Now this is some well made quality full metal drainage. Perfect for any drain without an overflow. For rentals, etc. Easy to install and very durable. Good buy overall.

My last pop up stopper got stuck in the down position after more than 12 years of service! This replacement looks great, fits perfectly, was super easy to install and works great.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this sink drain. It arrived well packaged with no damage to the product or the box, and the brushed nickel finish looks clean and sturdy. One thing that caught me off guard was the size. The drain is a little larger than I expected, so I would recommend checking the measurements before ordering to make sure it's compatible with your sink. Overall, it feels well made, and my first impression is positive. If the size works for your bathroom sink, it seems like a solid replacement drain.

So far, this has worked out to be a great replacement for the push/popup drain that I had before that stopped up constantly. This one has a larger drain area and is EASY to clean. I really like how this was designed and it didn't break the bank. I am very happy with its function.

Wish I had known about this several years ago. Getting rid of that standard bathroom sink stopper was the best decision I’ve made in a while, and now I’m so glad that it broke. This is so much better working and easier to work with. Plus, you can keep the little stem behind your water knobs there so that you don’t have a small hole and it’ll still have pressure on it, but you can throw the old stopper away the next time that it betrays you… And purchase this. 😩😁👍🙏 (you should go through these emotions in this order if you do it correctly, lol)).
