This is beautiful!
I love this room divider! It has 4 panels and covers a wide area. It fits in good with my Moroccan themed living room. It’s a weathered gold wood and it reflects light beautifully. I love the carvings, especially the elephants. It is heavy and a solid wood so I had a guy carry it to my place when delivered. Once here, I did manage to move it where I wanted by myself, little by little. It is sturdy. It did have a slight woody odor when I got it, but that disappeared within a week. I’m so glad I got this, and at a great discounted price. I might consider getting another one in the future to use as a headboard for my bed. Love it!

Beautiful piece to accent any room
It's a stunner. It's better than I was hoping for, and looks wonderful in our room. It's not quite as big as I expected, but that's actually a good thing since it fits perfectly in the space I planned for it. The color is exactly as it appears in the pictures, sort of a classic antique brown (not red at all, as some have claimed, so this may vary from piece to piece). It's sturdy, but the top portions slide out of the frame and appear to be fragile, so handle them carefully. As others have mentioned, it's not entirely even: the left wing of the partition doesn't sit flush with the floor, so I had to stick some cardboard under there to prop it up and keep the whole thing from leaning. A small sacrifice.Overall, I'm very satisfied, and for the price ($275 at the time I write this) it's one of the best deals out there. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate! You won't regret it.

This makes the room
This is by far the most beautiful piece of furniture in my living room, or in my house for that matter. I hesitated about purchasing it because it looked so delicate. When I received it was backed very well in two layers of boxes and I realized the screen itself is actually sturdier than I expected. There was one cracked medallion which I repaired with wood glue and a black furniture marker. Even though I feel the screen is sturdy, I placed it in a corner so my young children will not run into it and I have not had any problems with damage since. I contacted the seller about the damage and he gave me a discount, so customer service was great as well. I would not hesitate to purchase this as long you know that you will need to place it in a safe location where it will not be bumped into. Also for those who are sensitive to chemical smells, the screen did have a strong smell from the paint for about 2-3 days but I just left the window open to help speed up the process.

Avoid at any cost. Serious problems!
I ordered this wooden screen with great enthusiasm thinking and believing the seller's claim, quote, "This four panel folding room divider screen is a great treat for someone who has an interest in traditional motifs. You will find such room dividers placed in expensive and exquisite hotels or restaurants. The wood color will fire up the surroundings in addition to the functionality that this room divider offer." (He means `offers')I got the delivery in time. Opened the box and quite strong, unpleasant shoe polish-like smell attacked me. I pulled the screen out of the box and stood it up. Right away I noticed the plaster thrown at many places to conceal the chipped, broken wood or gaps between joints and it was done in a bad mood! As if the carpenter wasn't very happy. The smaller panels were coming out of the frame and you could see through the gaps and even insert a pencil through those gaps. My little son who was excited about a new thing in the house ran his hand on it and got a splinter; it was not finished at all! The whole screen was splintery! Not even a sand-paper was used. I looked at my son's hand and saw red color on them, I checked mine and same red color was covering my hands too. So the shoe polish not only smelled bad but was coming off too. I looked at the legs of it and noticed a piece of wood broken off and missing. I checked the box and found it in there. On the top panel at two spots I noticed some whitish stuff that dripped and dried off but still sat at two spots; bird poop! That's how it came from India and that's exactly how the seller shipped it to me. Now the biggest shock hit me. I saw some powder type stuff on two of the panels. On close inspection I saw tiny holes in the frame...it was infested with termites! The powder was coming out of the frame onto the panels. So I paid $173.00 for all these problems. A customer Mr. James K. Wangsness already had mentioned about the bad smell and the shoe polish type color coming off that ruined his carpet; yes, it ruined my carpet too and the polish doesn't come off! He was very right. I should have listened to him but my artistic side overtook my better judgment. I took pictures and sent to the seller and demanded a full refund. We worked it out somehow but it happens to be a useless piece of rubbish that keeps reminding you its presence with the continuous shoe polish odor (It is no wood stain that has been used, it really IS SHOE POLISH)WHERE THE SELLER IS AT FAULT: Seller received the shipment from his supplier in India and sold it without bothering to see what was in the box; especially when a customer complained about weird shoe polish smell and the paint coming off. They should open and check every box that comes from supplier before shipping them forward to their customers.WHAT YOU CAN DO IF YOU BOUGHT THE SAME PIECE LIKE OURS: Take a wet towel, squeeze well and rub the entire screen with it taking off all the shoe polish that you can. Keep washing the towel in intervals with dish washing liquid. Now when you do this, most of the polish would come off because it is shoe polish. You'll see that it gets more rustic looks and a little shine as well. I FOUND TWO CRACKS IN THE WOOD THAT I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT. For roughness and finishing, I've bought a rotary tools set for wood-work and I'll keep working on it to make it smooth and give shape to the carving in my spare time. About 70% of the carving is half-done or the wood got chipped, you can see that from far. Check your item closely and look for tiny holes. I found many more holes afterwards, smaller ones though. So for termites you'll have to buy Kerosene oil (Also called lamp oil) and with a syringe and needle inject in the tiny holes. It will surely kill off the termites OR you can buy Boric Acid and put it in the holes. If you can, put the screen in sun for one or two days, that works too but make sure you do this quickly to protect any other wooden furniture in your house.Nobody deserves to go through this after buying something and then spending more time and money on it to protect their other stuff. These people must know they're not in India; this is U.S.A. and they better respect their customers and the law of the land. They are lucky I didn't take them to court for selling me termites, splinters, cracked and chipped wooden product that was totally unfinished, but someone will if the practice continues.
