Works well and simple to install and use
Good quality parts. Straightforward to fit and maintain with no leaks. The two isolation valves are easy to operate for cleaning out. Heavy particles collected by the filter can be emptied out first. Magnetic particles can be released by withdrawing the strong magnet. An impressive amount of crud was collected in a bucket after only a few days.

28mm version
Excellent build quality and effective in filtering out black rust from the central heating. Really easy to back flush the filter in situ. Valves are ecellent and 100% drip free. Easy to fitA few tips. Make sure you position the filter where you have enough room to access the valves and drain screw. Before fitting completely dismantle the filter, mine was gorilla tight. Turn the valves, they are stiff and lubricate with silicone spray so that they are eased. Unscrew the drain tap, again very tight on mine. I had to send my first one back because it was too tight. You don't need to over tighten the filter enclosure, hand tight is fine. It comes with a spanner for the enclosure which I have hing next to the filter so it doesn't get lost.If you want to top up your inhibitor you can empty thr filter housing and pour some in there. Much easier than going up into the attic!

Good boiler mag.
This boiler mag is incredibly competitively price compared to market leading brands. That said that saving does not appear to have came at the expense of quality. The unit it's self feels good quality and nice and durable.Very simple to fit on the return pipework with basic plumbing knowledge and tools. The valves were a little stiff initially but I presume that's a result of it sat in a warehouse for a period of time before I purchased it.I would question the accuracy of the integrated temperature gauge as that didn't move when I tested the heating on a new boiler install however my intended use is for the mag filter its self rather than a temperature gauge.Happy to recommend.

Good price. Good construction
Simple to install. Replaced another brand filter owing to the detachable magnet being lost? This one has all the features I needed, isolation for maintenance without having to drain the entire system. A little plumbers silicone grease is advisable on the moving parts to help with future maintenance.
