Don't delete your wife's review
So my wife wrote a review on this item and I accidentally deleted it before it could be posted.., SOOOO I'm gonna tell you to BUY this thing... It's REALLY cool. Cooks perfectly and evenly. Super easy to use cooks a pizza in less than 10 minutes. The smaller one fits perfectly on our Oklahoma Joe grill, and yes you can close the lid on the grill to respond to one of the other reviews. Even though you're not supposed to OR need to. Also the instructions say to turn the pizza every so often for even cooking, that isn't necessary. I turned it once about half way through and probably didn't need to then. HINT about the peel, wait to make the pizza until the oven is ready or extremely close. Made the mistake of making it too soon and even with sprinkling cornmeal, it absorbed into the dough and it was sticky. Rookie error on me.

Works like a champ! And quick!
Makes fantastic pizza! I used parchment paper to make cleanup easier. But how quick is this? Preheat stone and oven 10 minutes. Fits fine on my Kamodo Joe Classic (lid up). Did turn the pizza halfway through cooking, which was easy with the parchment paper and high heat gloves. The crust was absolutely perfect! I made my own homemade crust, and pizza sauce from my heirloom tomatoes. Added some wood chunks to the charcoal. Great flavor! It's just so easy to use, and the stainless steel paddle is perfect. Got this to use on my fire pit, but the Kamodo Joe is fine during the summer, when it's too hot to start a wood fire. I was worried that with the lid up on the KamodoJoe the fire would get too hot, but the temperature gauge on the oven never went above 500 degrees. I highly recommend this for homemade pizzas.

Awesome insert that can crank out some good pizza. This price,compared to what’s out there for homemade outdoor pizza makers, you can’t beat. I only gave it 4 because I wish it did get a little hotter. Ive only used it a few times on my gas grill (5 burner old cheap nexgrill). You’re not supposed to close the lid of the gas grill over it but you kind of need to in order to keep the temp up. Customer service told another customer that it was indeed safe to close the gas grill lid, that it won’t harm the insert. So I do but I keep an eye on it. I would buy again.

Easy to use and much more efficient than stand alone units
I'm really happy with this Pizza Oven. One of my biggest hesitations about getting an Ooni or other stand alone unit is having to store an additional appliance. Also I didn't want to add a new gas line or keep propane tanks when I already have a hard line to my grill. This Geras oven works really well using my grill and it made a perfect pizza. As compared to other on the grill pizza ovens, I like how you can open the door to make loading and unloading a pizza easier. I also like the built in thermometer. On my first use, I got a nice crust with a crispy bottom and well cooked cheese/toppings. I don't normally leave reviews but I was really happy with this product.

First attempt and absolute success Used birch wood open fire in a Santa Maria Placed the pizza over directly on top of the grate and preheated to about 550 degrees Placed pizza and rotate every 3-4 minutes Perfect crust and fantastic pizza Highly recommended

Easy to use & great pizza, even gluten free!
I’m loving my new pizza oven! I make both regular and gluten free pizza at home and have been looking for a better way to cook my gluten free pizza, and this is it! The pictures I included are of a gluten free pizza that turned out great! This oven cooked my pizza perfectly even all the way through, which has been challenging in the past for gluten free pizza. The pizza had a great texture, with a crispy bottom crust and a soft upper crust, and the toppings were cooked just right. I’ve tried other methods for grilling gluten free pizza, and often end up with underdone crust and overdone toppings, but that is not the case here. I can’t say enough about this little pizza oven. It fits perfectly on my standard size Coleman grill too, which allows me to use hardwood charcoal and wood for a delicious wood fired flavor. If you’re looking to up your pizza game, check this one out!

Shipped in manufacturers packaging.
Poor choice by manufacturer to place stone on top of oven vice inside it for shipping. Stone arrived broken. Replacement is in progress. It would have been easier and cheaper for Amazon to send new stone but only return and replace was an option. Stove looks nice and sturdy though. We haven't been able to try it yet.

This pizza oven in the bees knees!
This thing is the bees knees!!! I get the stone to around 500F (using an infrared thermometer) and the ambient temperature to around 550-600 using the built-in thermometer on the top of the pizza oven. It seems very accurate. So far I've made about five or six pies on it and they have came out incredibly well. I did burn one but that's because it was too hot and I wasn't paying attention. It's absolutely restaurant quality and we just had a pizza party with family and they all loved the various pizzas I made. I used the dough and sauce recipes from a YouTuber/pizzeria owner named "pizza patio" - his instructions are clear to the point and only a few minutes longer each. Anyhow, I highly recommend this pizza oven. It's a solid value.

It's ok. I can't close my bbq top all of the way. It takes forever to heat up. I was very excited to try this out but I am more disappointed.
