40 SMOOTHIE, BOBA, JUMBO PAPER STRAWS! ASSORTED - SUPER-WIDE 3/8" X 9 7/8"!

These were ordered not to use as drinking straws, but as nesting tubes for mason bees. Mason bees are non-stinging native pollinators and are far more efficient than honeybees, whose hives are in danger from hive collapse syndrome. The straws could not be better for the purpose if they had been designed so from scratch. I will be ordering more straws for my homemade mason bee homes as the females use the straws up for laying their eggs. Happy customer here, happy bees.

I use these straws for daily consumption of a tall 40+ ounces of an egg protein enriched frozen fruit smoothie. The extra width permits easy flow of the very thick concoction. No other paper straw on Amazon has been able to manage this thick material. Sometimes I am able to get by using only 1 straw. Other times the top collapses about two-thirds of the way through and I have had to use a second straw. Not sure what behavior of mine makes the difference between a straw surviving or not. It is perhaps a lot to ask of a paper straw. Perhaps being mindfully gentle and not in any way pressing on the straw makes a difference. I don't know if it is feasible to reinforce the first inch of one end of the straw. Still, it is far superior to anything else I have found and ecologically a gift over plastic straws. Each order of 40 comes nicely packaged (10 to a plastic wrapper) in a burlap bag. It would be great if the straws could come wrapped in paper rather than some thin plastic film. Yet, overall, I highly recommend them.

Great product! These do not fall apart when left in water and are a great length for larger glasses or water bottles.

These straws are great! The hold up well in cold liquids. Plus, if you're serving drinks in shorter glasses these straws are long enough to be cut in half. Highly recommend.

Cute styling, great size for smoothies, but they get soggy after a while so drink fast.

So paper straws help the environment - and these are very nice. BUT, they are shipped in plastic wrap! Can't we do without plastic for even one product?

They're paper. They're straws. We used them for crafts, and they held up really well. We were able to cut them as needed without damaging them, and they didn't unravel.

I purchased these straws previously and couldn’t wait to order new ones as I have at least one smoothie a day.First straw out of the pack does this after a couple of sips (see first photo). I turned it upside down and tried the other side to see if it were sturdier. Just as bad! Threw in the trash, grabbed a second straw. My husband grabs the packaging for me to return a few minutes later and I go to show him the straw I threw out. It is already coming apart!! See second photo.So disappointed with this product. I am returning. Please go back to making them the old way!!! Used to be a great product but stinks now.
