Why does this flashlight have no bulb; what happens when the light source burns out; if the flashlight needs to be replaced, I'm returning it?

Don't return it! There is a Light Emitting Diode (LED) that replaces the bulb; it has an estimated service life of 20,000 hours. The LED is super bright and is extremely power friendly.

How long is this flashlight? I am reading 2 different dimensions 7.05" and 10" in the gray descripion/detail box.

The flashlight is 9.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide on the back end and 2 inches wide on the front end. Hope this helps

The product description has two different run times: 8 hours and 10 hours- which one is correct?

This is a basic one setting flashlight. Push the button... it's on ... push it again and it's off. I have several of these. They produce a bright focused light. The 2-D cells give it a long use time.
