How much zeaxanthin does this have per pill?

It has 1,600 mcg of zeaxanthin.

When I opened my bottle there was a funky smell, similar to that of spoiled cooking oil. Is that pretty normal?

Lutein capsules do have a light odor distinct from that of fish oil capsules. I do not know if this is due to the Lutein or the accompanying Zeaxanthin, or from the composition of the gel cap, itself. I would call 1-800-645-1030 (Puritan Pride) and speak with those who should have firsthand knowledge. I have had no problem with their product. Best wishes. RLF <
