DDR5 So-Dimm. 32gb. From crucial and it uses micron chips and is absolutely bulletproof when it comes to ram. Passed all ram tests that were ran twice. Took all of 10 minutes to install this ram into a brand new Asus 2022 M16 gaming laptop that was only running 16gb so it needed it. Its crazy fast, dual channel stock, and works perfectly as expected. Of course ram is spendy nowadays but that is to be expected as every component is either short on stock, hampered by logistical nightmares of shipping/sourcing/etc, or just scalpers seeing a hole to exploit so they can turn a quick buck by buying up all the stock then raising the prices 25-50% and selling it to everyone that needs it because guess what? Stocks out, and their stock is in, and if you need the item youre forced to pay that amount or suffer which is ridiculous. Anyways, get this ram before it sells out and youre forced to pay 1.5X or more than msrp ( and the price alone has jumped 20% since i bought it a week or two ago which is nuts already ) TL;DR - Fantastic Ram, Great for those new kick butt Gaming laptops like the Asus 2022 M16 i just got that runs the alder lake chipset that runs ddr5 and makes use of the ram. ALIENWARE USERS: Your system may not start after RAM upgrade, more alarmingly, your system may not start even if you rollback the upgrade, this is normal, just follow these steps: - Unplug power source - Unplug battery - Remove the old RAM - Place the new RAM - Press your power button for 10 seconds (with both battery and power source unplugged) - Plug your battery - Plug your power source - Turn on your Alienware system - Your system would appear stuck on rainbow keyboard, this is normal. - Just wait 5-10 minutes, your system will turn off and restart - Your BIOS will reset, you'll need to reconfigure your preferences on lid switch, mux switch, power management, battery saver, etc. - Readjust your settings and restart your system. - You'll now see your ram in your system, so you can now open 3 chrome tabs.

Excellent memory. Works well. Easy to install. Havent had any issues with it and Ive had them in quite a while now. Would definitely repurchase. It was a great value.

Really just leaving a review for informational purposes. Bought a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 with just 8GB of RAM preinstalled... which of course is criminal. Got this Crucial 32GB to beef it up quite a bit... installed it, and got a quizzical LED code of FnLock/Esc + F1 + F4, blinking in sequential order. Of course, I did my troubleshooting... and of course, I had installed an m.2 SSD as well, which didn't help in simplifying what was wrong. However, long story short, that FnLock/Esc + F1 + F4 LED blinking in sequential order is literally just it loading. Let it sit and "load" and recognize the RAM... and it should be fine! (I now have 40GB of RAM in this thing.)

Me arriesgue comprando la de 32 gb a pesar de que según las especificaciones de mi laptop (Dell G15 5525) solo admiten como máximo 32 gb en configuración 2 x 16 gb, lo probé y funciona de maravilla, es la mejor compra que he hecho, solo hay que tener cuidado al momento de desarmar tu laptop, yo en el proceso la dañe, procura que lo haga alguien experto, por cualquier otra cosa es excelente, lo volvería a comprar. 😻
