Add a touch of vibrant, lifelike, friendly gator amusement to your next pool or lake escapade with this charming inflatable by Intex. The bright green gator, crafted from tough, UV-resistant vinyl, offers space for multiple kids of all ages. Review: Great duck deterrent - The gator looked great and somewhat realistic. I used it in my pool because ducks kept coming in daily, swam, and lounged around leaving poop everywhere. I waited and made sure there was no ducks around, inflated the gator, and tied a weight on a line to it so it will remain in the center of the pool. No ducks came in the water, and kept a distance, just staring at it. Some were getting brave and came close to the pool but I just scared them off to keep them away. No more ducks and no more dirty pool. Review: A 7 and 5 year old visitors loved playing on it - Bought this to scare ducks that were coming to my pool. Never saw another one after I put this out. A 7 and 5 year old visitors loved playing on it. Sturdy and strong but a little scary looking.

Scares away ducks and is a fun toy too!
I bought this because I wanted to keep ducks from using my pool as a toilet. Worked like a charm. I moved it around each day so the ducks wouldn’t catch on that it was a fake. One day I would perch it on the side nearest the spa, another day on the opposite side of the pool, another day in the water. I bought some realistic looking rubber snakes to put out occasionally as well. There are pools in the backyards on both sides of mine, so all I needed to do was make my pool and yard look more dangerous than the neighbors’. Bonus: this float ended up being a favorite toy all summer long. It’s a bit of a struggle to find your balance on it, which made it fun for the kids to play with and challenge each other to stay on. After a full season of use, it began to lose air. I will buy another one for next year. Four stars instead of five because of the large warning label that is printed on the top side of the float. I wish it was on the underside. Whether using this as a fun toy float or a duck decoy, it really detracts from the appearance of the gator to have a large white box with a full paragraph of writing right on the gator’s back. It isn’t visible in any of the marketing photos.

my pool predator
I placed this in my pool. There is a problem with Muscovy ducks sitting on pool cages and leaving disgusting droppings. The inflated gator looks real and does the trick. I used permanent markers to color out the white warnings. So far after 3 weeks no birds and no loss of air.

Kinda Weird
The alligator itself is fine, but I was pretty disappointed to have paid 17.99 for it to have huge product warnings and the air valves on the top of the alligator. It looked terrible. We covered it up with a sharpie, but definitely not what we expected or wanted to pay for. I could totally understand these warnings and valves being on the bottom. Just really weird product design.

Ducks be gone!
Thankfully ducks can’t read so the warning stickers on the alligator everyone is talking about were not an issue. Stuck this bad boy in my pool and the ducks are gone. My pool guy couldn’t be happier. I let it just drift around in the wind to make it more realistic. It swims back and forth and patrols my pool like a seasoned duck hunter.

Why color this gator realistic colors then slap huge white rectangle warning messages stuck on top?
You show this gator with nice coloring, but mine has a huge white square warning label on top of the back of gator!! Why didn't you put it on the bottom of the gator?? It's not really good quality vinyl either. I expect it to not last long this summer. Your photo is misleading. You don't dare show that huge white rectangle patch on gator or you wouldn't sale any of them. I want a refund!!! This is ugly! Refund my money.

Perfect solution for my raccoons in the pool problem!
Ally (gator) as we call it, has done the trick of scaring off raccoons from our backyard and pool. We needed a decoy to keep raccoons from pooping in our pool that has a tanning shelf. Raccoons aren't going anywhere near a gator, and this one is very lifelike (I'm guessing) to a raccoon! Of course, half of the top of the float is covered in legal disclaimers! Not that a raccoon is going to know, but geez, nex thing you know the whole thing will just be covered in disclaimers! For the 10 bucks or so we paid for this, it was the perfect solution to my raccoons in the pool problem!
