Originally, I purchased the PreSonus Revelator Dynamic USB Microphone. I was very impressed by the sound quality. I am not sure why some called this a toy. Prior to purchasing this mic, I sang on the Starmaker app. Compared to using the mic on my Samsung 24 Ultra, this mic is such a huge improvement vocally. It cuts out the background noise. I even tested it with a fan. The audio was clear. THIS does work with smartphones! However, it did not come with a c to c type USB cord. You will need to purchase that separately in order to use it with an Android. Also, to hear yourself singing or any audio track, you must also have earbuds/headphones inserted into the mic jack. The Dymnamic is perfect for someone wanting to set up a studio where you can quickly plug and unplug your smartphone/device. I have not tried using the software yet, but it appears to have everything I would need as a beginner/intermediate singer. The Dynamic IT is large. I was not anticipating the size. It definitely needs to be used with a mic stand. I also purchased the PreSonus Revelator USB Condenser Microphone, which will be arriving within the next week. The Condenser mic I am hoping will give me more portability. I travel to and from work, and so I am hoping it will be just as easy to use. #Sound Quality, #Plug & Play, #Easy of Use, #Value for Money.

the Revelator Dynamic has the potential to be a very good mic. There were a few things that I noticed that others have commented on: unusual Noise Gate settings and fair amount of hiss at certain gain levels. Takes a bit of messing around with the settings to get that ideal sound. There is one thing that I especially don't like. For some reason; when I power on my PC, the mic doesn't connect and blinks red. I have to disconnect and reconnect the USB-C cable to "reset" it. I've had to do it so often that I'm afraid that the connection will eventually wear out. I've contacted Presonus and have gone through all their troubleshooting steps but still have not found a solid solution. I'm not sure if it's an isolated incident, but it's definitely annoying. I'm hoping that there will be some updates that would possibly solve this issue and other minor annoyances. Other than that; the mic sounds great, looks great and could be a nice alternative to more expensive dynamic mics. Edit Sep 2024: Been using the mic for a couple years now and realized that the connection issue was related to the USB ports on my PC (which I wasn’t able to fix after troubleshooting) The “temporary” fix was buying a magnetic USB-C cable to reset the mic. Fast forward to today and I haven’t had the issue after buying a new PC! I still have the gain hiss but it is manageable Bumped it up to 4 stars 👍

Excellent mic for the money.

The setting can be complicated. They settings cause revert to old settings in their own. The worst part is…. My headphones that are plugged into the back will work 30% of the time causing me to need to restart the PC multiple times. Very annoying

Das Mikrofon klingt sehr gut. Die Stimmge klingt klar und deutlich. Der Beigelegte Standfuß ist in Ordnung, eignet sich jedoch nicht zum nutzen wärend des zockens. Die verarbeitung ist hochwertung und die beigelegten Softwares sind sehr umfassend!

La prima volta che il microfono è arrivato era già stato usato (anche se era stato venduto come nuovo). Avevo registrato per un paio di giorni e ho notato che i pulsanti "Preset" e "Monitor" lampeggiavano quando toccavo il microfono. Alla fine ho chiesto la sostituzione con uno nuovo, mi è stato consegnato il giorno dopo al mattino e ora funziona perfettamente, la confezione è nuova e si vede che non è stata aperta. Per la registrazione vocale è perfetto! Gli do 4 stelle, solo per l'inconveniente della sostituzione. Ma nel complesso è stato veloce, meno di 24 ore. Allego una foto della scatola del primo e del secondo microfono. La seconda foto mostra il nuovo microfono che è arrivato come sostituzione
