I looked at websites to find companies that make cases in the USA (I'd like to see more manufacturing come back) and saw Magpul as the only one reasonably priced. The case fits snugly, but not too hard to get on, it has raised edges for screen and camera. The ridges make it easier to hold and are not uncomfortable. I'm very picky about plastic/rubber odor and the product is almost odor free (with my nose right on the case I smell a tiny bit of something - no issue). This case has very nice volume buttons that are tilted a bit which feels natural and makes them easier to identify.I would look for cases from Magpul for future phones (maybe my 7 will last until the 15 - i refuse to buy another lightning port iPhone). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Affordable, thin, lots of grip, but limited protection prone to stretching over time. *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2019* I have owned several Magpul cases and love them on my phones and have had one on my iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, and now my 7+. I have a waterproof case I use when I am fishing or something outside where I need additional protection but this case really shines for it's grip and texture. If your hands are wet there's zero slippage. I love that they're made in the USA and the price is great but used to cost $9.99 on the earlier phones.The biggest complaints I have are that if you drop it (even with the grip drops do occur) and the corner hits, it will just peel the case back and bust the screen still. I've had it happen on two of their cases and my current 7+ it hit the corner and cracked the screen under my tempered glass screen protector but the protector was fine and held the screen in place. The cases have a tendency to stretch over time too so the buttons don't line up properly, the phone slides in the case, and it has more of a tendency to peel off on drops do to being looser and this is usually when the broken screens happen for me. I recently replaced the screen and case with a new Magpul because I wanted a thin case with grip for everyday use.
